Good morning,
My friend.
Welcome to your day.
Today is a day full of opportunity,
Full of potential,
Full of choices,
And full of opportunities to move yourself 1% forward towards your identity statement,
Towards the person you are becoming.
So I invite you to find a comfortable seat,
Close your eyes,
And for the next few minutes,
Just listen,
Tune in,
And join me for this morning motivation ritual.
Take a deep breath in through your nose.
Exhale it out.
Take another deep cleansing breath.
And exhale it out.
One more.
Inhale through the nose.
Exhale,
Soften the shoulders,
Relax the face,
Soften the belly.
Think about the day that lies ahead.
How will you choose to face the day?
Oftentimes,
Our first thought as we wake up in the morning is,
I already overslept,
Or oh,
Another day,
Or oh,
I gotta get up,
Oh,
I need to get my tush out of bed and get started.
Instead,
I want to offer you an invitation to start your day with,
Awesome,
A new day.
I have an opportunity to get out of bed and start my day intentionally.
As you move through your day,
I encourage you to choose empowered language.
Instead of the I have to's,
I need to's,
I should's,
Instead,
Consider inserting I choose to,
I get to,
I will.
Choose language that's empowering.
Whatever is on your list for the day,
Whatever agenda items lay ahead,
Choose them.
Choose your habits,
Choose your positive behaviors.
Even if you're not feeling 110% today,
That's okay.
You still have the power of choice.
Take a deep breath.
Exhale it out.
And another.
Breathe it out.
You,
My friend,
Are the queen of your day.
You get to choose your mindset.
You get to choose what action you'll take today,
What choices you'll make today,
What behaviors you will or will not engage in today.
And starting your day with this mindset check-in allows you to really think,
How will I go about my day?
What will I choose today?
How will I reframe my mindset?
What do I get to do today?
And that allows you to move through your day empowered.
That allows you to move through your day choosing your choices.
And when you start the day with this intentionality,
It helps you to create space as you move throughout your day.
Mindfulness is creating space between thought and action.
So before thoughts create unintended action,
Ask yourself,
What do I choose?
How will I begin my day?
What next steps will I take?
What habits will I choose today?
Where will I choose to devote my time,
Energy,
And attention?
Remember,
My friend,
You are the leader of your life and you have the power of choice.
So what do you get to do today?
What does this day hold for you?
What are you choosing?
And what will you move forward with?
What will be your intention for the day?
Set that intention now.
Breathe it in.
Breathe it out.
