Find a comfortable position,

Allowing your body to relax and your mind to settle.

Take a deep breath in,

And as you exhale,

Release any tension or stress that may be residing in you.

This moment is an opportunity to connect with the deepest parts of yourself,

An opportunity to offer tenderness,

Compassion and empathy to your own inner child.

And together,

We will embark on a heartfelt journey of healing and self-discovery.

And let us begin by visualising yourself in a sanctuary filled with pure love.

Picture soft,

Glowing light enveloping the space,

Wrapping you in a warm,

Gentle embrace.

Feel the tenderness and compassion emanating from every corner of this sanctuary.

It's a sacred space,

And it's dedicated to the healing and the nurturing of your inner child.

And now,

Imagine a younger version of yourself standing before you,

Your eyes filled with both innocence and vulnerability.

See your precious face,

The curiosity in your gaze,

And the unspoken emotions you carry.

Smile with utmost tenderness,

Extending your arms wide open,

Inviting them to step into your loving embrace.

And as they come closer,

Feel the connection,

Feel the love,

And feel the compassion you share with your own inner child.

And as you do,

Find a peaceful corner within your sanctuary,

Somewhere where you can sit together,

Let them know that their feelings are valid,

Breathe in deeply now.

Inhale the essence of self-compassion,

And exhale any self-judgement or criticism.

Inwardly whisper words of love.

I am worthy of love and acceptance.

I forgive myself completely.

I am deserving of joy and happiness.
