To get started,

Make yourself as comfortable as possible.

Adjust your clothing as needed.

Getting more settled into your bed.

Really tuning in to sensations beneath you.

Feeling the bed as you sink into the mattress or the floor if that's where you're lying down.

Feeling the ease of allowing yourself the space and time to take care of you.

Before we move on with the relaxation,

Tune in,

Notice how your body feels in this moment.

Pay attention to the state of your body right now.

Don't try to change anything.

Simply notice how your body's feeling.

How is your mind?

Do you notice tension?

Or are you more rested and eased into the moment?

Gently,

Gradually,

Feel your body begin to relax.

Feel your shoulders soften,

Dropping a little bit lower than before.

Feel your jaw loosen so your teeth are no longer touching.

Softness in the jaw.

Softness in the eyelids and forehead.

Feel your eyelids starting to feel heavy and closing.

Take a deep breath in,

Breathing in.

Exhale,

Breathing out.

One more time,

Inhale,

And nice long exhale.

Good.

Now just notice your breathing for a moment.

Notice with interest how your breath goes in and out.

Feel the pause after you inhale and before you exhale.

Notice the pause before drawing another breath.

Set that intention of allowing your body to relax.

Allowing your mind to focus on this calming meditation.

Allow the relaxation to occur naturally.

Just allow and observe.

Create a picture in your mind of the color red.

Imagine red of all shades.

Picture some red objects.

Maybe a red wagon,

A red landscape,

Or just the solid color of red.

Imagine the different tones of red.

Roses,

Bricks,

Apples,

A sunset,

Or maybe your mind brings you something different.

Just observe and notice.

Notice the feelings that come with red.

Enjoy the color red.

Now imagine the color red is fading in the background and orange is the new color that's coming closer to you.

Picture the color orange solidly.

See the many shades of orange in objects.

Orange flowers,

Pumpkins,

Carrots,

An actual orange that you eat.

Fill your entire visual field with the color orange.

See what other objects your mind wants to bring up that are orange.

Enjoy the color orange.

Feel the sensations as you visually look upon orange.

Notice the emotion that comes up.

Allow orange to fade into yellow.

In your imagination,

See the various shades of yellow.

Allow yellow to fill your vision.

Lemons,

Yellow flowers blowing in a field.

Fall leaves gently falling to the ground from the trees.

Imagine the endless colors of yellow,

The different tones.

Imagine yourself immersed with the color yellow all around you,

Fully present with yellow.

What emotion comes up?

What memories?

Enjoy the color yellow.

Allow yellow to fade into green.

Fill your visual field with green.

Picture endless shades and tones of green in plants,

Leaves,

Grass,

Or any other object you can think of right now.

Imagine being surrounded,

Immersed by the beautiful color green.

All shades from lightest to the darkest.

Subdued green,

Bright green,

Light green.

Enjoy green.

Now see the green fading away and in your mind the color blue becomes present.

Surround yourself with beautiful blue.

See the shades of blue with water,

The ocean,

The endless sky,

Filling your vision with blue.

Enjoy the color blue,

Feeling it all around you,

Seeing it,

The many shades.

Now allow the blue to fade away and in comes violet.

Focus on the different tones that you see.

See violet flowers,

Eggplant,

A sunrise.

What other objects come up for you that are violet?

Acknowledge those right now.

Immerse yourself in the color violet.

Feel it surrounding you,

Your entire body and visual field.

What emotion comes up for you?

What sensations?

Enjoy the color violet.

Now shift your attention away from the colors,

Coming back to your breathing for a moment.

Checking in,

Notice any shifts in your breath.

Is it getting any deeper?

Noticing emotion that might be there for you.

What is coming up?

Is there more calmness,

Stillness?

Yet,

If not,

Don't judge yourself.

Allow what is and continue to work on the intention of bringing peace and calm into your body.

Now I want you to imagine all the colors again together in a giant rainbow.

You can picture this rainbow over some blue water,

A lake,

Or the ocean.

You see the giant arch of this rainbow,

The colors gleaming brightly.

The clouds surrounding each ends of the rainbow,

Filling up the earth with beauty.

You see the orange,

Yellow,

Green,

Blue,

And violet.

Now let the rainbow go for now.

Now pick a favorite calming color you have.

What is one that suits your mood right now?

You can pick more than one if you'd like.

Allow it to form in your mind.

Allow it to soothe you further,

Feeling more relaxed and calm.

Now imagine whatever colors you're thinking of swirling together,

Forming beautiful images of things that you love.

Maybe it's an object,

Or could it be an animal or a pet that you love,

Maybe a loved one,

Or the house you live in.

Just notice what the colors share for you.

Feel the connection with whatever comes up.

Feel the love with that object.

Now gradually letting that object go,

Settling more into the space around you,

Allowing your body to melt into the bed.

Fill your body with soothing calmness,

Picking a color for that if you'd like.

Now pick another soothing color and imagine it as a blanket coming over you all the way up to your neck.

There's some weight to it to ground you.

There's some softness as you touch this blanket of color,

Tucking you in,

Making you feel safe,

Content,

And comfortable in this space.

You feel the heaviness of this warm blanket comforting you.

Your breathing deepens,

Settled,

Feeling soothed and comfortable,

Allowing waves of peacefulness to envelop you.

You ease deeper and deeper into stillness,

Into that calm space within,

Allowing any remnants of the burdens of the day just to fade away,

Releasing stressful thoughts,

Releasing thoughts of tomorrow and what it could bring,

Allowing yourself to immerse here in the present moment,

Settling deeper,

Allowing yourself permission to release and be here,

Relaxed.

Follow your breath one more time,

Feeling the rise on the inhale,

Fall on the exhale.

Notice the rising and falling,

The rising and the falling.

The rising and the falling.

Feel more ease in your body and mind.

Feel the peace and relaxation.

Such a sweet release to be here,

To let go,

And to fully be you,

And I wish you a good night.

Thank you, ChrisπŸ™πŸ»πŸ™πŸ»πŸ™πŸ»I have fallen asleep very quickly many nights now, using it in the middle of the night, after having woken up. It is only now, around 5 am, that I pressed the button again, and heard what beauty I had been listening to. LOVE it. Very soothing, and calming.πŸ™πŸ»πŸ’—πŸ©΅πŸ’šπŸ’™πŸ™πŸ»
