Hello,
I'm Christine Katlowski and in today's message we explore a guided journey of a personal account and the opportunity to realize the power of evolving.
When we see ourselves in a pure light,
When we are living in gratitude,
We may also offer those things to others.
When I catch myself judging either myself or others,
When I cave into the urges of comparing,
I remind myself that this is where the important work and growth needs to take place.
So let's begin.
Take a deep breath and relax your entire body.
Take slow,
Long inhales and slower,
Longer exhales.
Close your eyes.
I want you to think of this.
Varied strides,
Various gates,
Varying heights,
Weights,
People coming and going.
Some are hurried and some are slow.
Some are talking,
Some are texting,
And some are listening to their favorite message.
You are walking down a city street.
You sense the energy and the distinct vibe.
People are moving in predictable ways,
Each with a path to pursue,
But underneath that is free will.
You notice eyes moving from one object or person to another.
You wait within a sea of color for the green light to allow further distance,
And you ask yourself,
Do I feel seen?
Am I being seen?
And you think,
Are those around you wondering if they feel seen or even if they care?
Stepping off the sidewalk,
You maneuver quickly to the other side and notice a young woman,
Relaxed,
Smiling,
At ease,
And present.
You sense a pure light in this instant.
You know that you could be anyone or perhaps no one at all.
People flow together.
Any spot a middle-aged,
Well-dressed couple holding hands,
You sense commitment,
Longevity,
And genuine love.
On this wide avenue,
There are hanging baskets overflowing with beautiful,
Fragrant flowers.
Towering buildings are seen in the distance,
As if from nowhere,
An elderly man appears,
And you patiently wait for him.
He carefully and purposefully steps,
Relying on the strength of his notched cane.
You sense the miles that he has traveled with this aid,
And you are curious of his wide,
Brimmed hat.
You think,
How this hat has protected him through many weathers,
And you sense wisdom,
Respect,
Heritage,
And history.
There's someone running,
And you sense peace of mind and good physical health.
The cutest little white dog makes a sweet bark as he explores his own surroundings.
You feel unconditional love and companionship.
You slip in and out of the crowd,
Shoulder to shoulder,
But you are walking with relief.
There are so many differences.
Heights,
Weights,
And structure,
Color of hair,
Skin,
And obvious differences in the choices of food that people make,
Their dress habits,
Their speech,
And social traditions.
You think once more,
Do they feel seen?
Seen for who they are,
Or who they seem to appear?
You pause and think of what they sense in seeing you.
What are you portraying?
Truth?
Gratefulness?
Happiness?
Confidence?
As you walk,
You see bubbles appearing above people's heads.
Stories abound.
You see possibilities.
You see bubbles of joy and happiness,
But there are bubbles of challenges,
Hardships,
And tragedies.
You sense a deepness.
You accept the act of love,
Kindness,
And compassion,
And you realize how this practice can be important for you to see and to let the heartbreak move through us and turn from hardening.
To be clear,
The others can also see who they truly are by what we are reflecting.
So you breathe and you continue your walk.
You choose to embrace this moment.
You choose to empower what your thoughts are and allow evolution to unfold and grow as it naturally will.
You're intrigued by your acceptance of those who you see.
There is no negativity and no one needs to be heard.
It doesn't matter what their job or career is,
Who their significant other might be,
Their hobbies,
Where they live,
Or how they live.
This experience makes you think of meeting each one of these people at a gathering,
All brought into one random place to meet and greet.
What would change?
What would the expectations be?
Would people feel limited or limitless?
So you choose this experience.
A gathering of strangers.
What do they see in you?
You say,
What do they see in me on my exterior?
And as gatherings happen,
So do conversations.
Stories,
Ideas,
And concepts are shared.
Do you show and share your true personality,
The details of your relationships,
Home life,
Or work life?
You do.
You choose the truth of it all and you resist any falsehood.
You stand in this place of who you are,
Brave with vulnerability,
And you receive embracing acceptance.
You are empowered by the response from strangers.
There's no judgment.
There's complete safety.
True love of true people and the treasures each one holds within their hearts.
So the gathering comes to an end and everyone steps back out onto the street to move along their path.
Each person holding their own unique light.
Voices are freed.
The earth is solid and hearts are lightened.
Hearts are enlightened.
As you step out onto the avenue,
You feel embraced,
Empowered,
And ready and willing to evolve.
Your future story hasn't arrived and your current status is what it is.
So you are filled with excitement for all to unfold,
A true joy to grow.
Your walk meets the end of the street and you look left and right and you understand more completely the power to go in either direction.
Confident,
Worthy,
Wise,
True,
Appreciative,
Eager,
And embracing spontaneity.
The street grows silent.
The street is ready for another journey on another day.
You breathe calmly.
Your eyes are wide open to the world around you.
Thank you for joining me.
