We practice embracing change and not fighting against it. Fear and worry become powerful and hold us back from improving and allowing. Change is good! When we feel the emotions behind what keeps us stuck, we are released to their power and then we learn to thrive, realizing improvements in areas of our life that we never thought were possible!

Welcome to Meditation Monday.

This is Chris Katlowski and I am thrilled that you are joining me for this 10 minutes of meditation together.

Tonight's topic is creating space for change.

Change will occur in almost every aspect of our lives.

This time together may help you learn to embrace it.

When we find ourselves going through change,

Our natural response may be to tense up physically,

Mentally or emotionally.

We may not even notice that we have braced ourselves against change,

Fighting against it,

Until we recognize ourselves with anxiety,

Mood swings or some type of health concern,

All caused by fear and worry.

Fear and worry toward the unknown.

There are positive ways to move through change without pushing it away or attempting to deny that it is even happening.

Change is good.

I encourage you to say this to yourself.

Change is good.

Change allows us to grow.

Think of something that you might be going through or maybe expecting in the future that brings fear,

The thoughts of fear or maybe the unsettling worries of the unknown.

Maybe starting your own business,

Parenting,

Divorce,

Growing older,

Speaking in front of a group,

Retirement,

Organizing a fundraiser,

Education,

Flying,

Moving or our children leaving.

Change when embraced opens doors.

Yes,

Unknown,

Yet good.

Some changes bring pure joy and others bring on more change,

Allowing more growth and yes,

More feelings of fear and worry.

And yet,

Change brings increased awareness,

Happiness,

Pride,

Wisdom and confidence.

The more you embrace change,

The more you become self-assured,

Joyful,

Free and at peace.

Change may bring about blessings that you would have never ever imagined.

Take a moment to just breathe in.

As we evolve throughout this new year,

May we be mindful of our breath,

Breath to keep us calm.

May we be mindful of laughter,

Laughing at all the surprises.

May we be confident on our own unique path.

May we be insightful through our own unique experiences traveled.

Change is a constant.

I encourage you to embrace it,

Be open to it,

Allow it to make this journey of life wonderful.

Creating space for yourself to sit,

Creating space for yourself to be just be,

To breathe and to allow your mind to just accept will help you grow and expand your thinking.

Change is good.

As you change,

Maybe your thoughts will expand and grow and the things that you think back to that were bringing such worry and fear have evolved to excitement and anticipation.

Thinking of this new year can bring very bright things and may we be open to seeing those bright opportunities.

So may you be safe.

May you be bold.

May you grow through adversity.

May you be kind to yourself and to others and ultimately may you thrive.

Thank you for making this time for yourself to be with me.

May you look forward to each time you take 10 minutes just for yourself.

And may you rise tomorrow with renewed hope and a mindset to embrace whatever is surrounding you.

Thank you for joining me.
