Hello and welcome.

My name is Cheryl Bailey of Grit and Grace Meditation and today I'm going to be sharing with you a sound healing session.

I invite you to allow yourself to go to a place where you won't be disrupted for the next 20 to 30 minutes.

This allows yourself to settle in and relax.

Let go of your external world so that you can invite in the beautiful landscapes of your inner world.

Perhaps you might lie in a bed or on the couch,

Place a bolster underneath your knees,

A pillow under your head,

An eye pillow over your eyes,

Allowing you to relax and let go.

And as you begin to settle in,

I invite you to take a few deep breaths together with me in fully through the nose,

Filling up completely and exhaling out through your mouth.

Two more times.

Deep breath in,

Fill your belly,

Rise and expand.

Exhale out through the mouth.

And last time.

Deep breath in,

Fill all the way up and exhale it out through the mouth,

Allowing yourself to arrive in this moment,

Letting go of anything that was happening prior to this moment or anything that's to follow and gifting yourself present moment awareness.

And if you have any angels or guides,

Wisdom keepers,

Spirit,

Universe,

God,

That you would like to invite in to be with you in this sound healing,

I invite you to do so now.

Wrapping yourself in this beautiful,

Light,

Loving,

Pure energy.

Settling into your body.

Settling into the space.

And begin to soften and surrender your entire body from head to toe.

Feel the earth rising up to hold and support you.

Feel secure here on Mother Earth.

You are in a sacred,

Safe space.

No place to go and nothing to do.

Allow yourself to just be.

Be in this moment now.

Scanning your body from head to toe.

And releasing any tightness or tension.

Using the breath to expand and open.

Feeling your beautiful breath as it flows.

Head and torso grow heavy and sinking.

Arms and legs heavy and sinking.

Melting into the earth.

Aware of your beautiful breath as it moves through you easily and effortlessly.

These beautiful waves of respiration ebbing and flowing into a place within you that is sacred.

Resting your awareness in the center of your chest.

Connecting to your beautiful heart center.

And as your awareness rests here in your heart,

Inviting in an intention.

An intention for this time together.

Think of it like planting the seed in the fertile soil of your heart to bring around transformation or a form of healing.

It could be a prayer or a blessing.

This intention is specific to you in this moment.

Asking your heart what is its deepest desire.

See,

Feel,

And imagine this intention fully through your body.

What would it be like if this were your true reality?

And when you're ready,

Silently state that intention to yourself.

And together we'll take a deep breath in and release your intention.

Send it out to the universe with thanks behind it as we trust the process.

Continuing to allow yourself to let go.

To surrender to the moment.

Allow this beautiful vibrational music to bathe you from head to toe.

Hey Hey Oh Hey Hey Starting to bring your awareness back to your body.

Back to the space around you.

Becoming aware of the back side of your body.

Resting on the surface that's held by the earth below you.

Feeling supported and held by Mother Earth.

Can you bring your awareness to the front side of your body?

Front side facing skyward.

And welcoming in the space that surrounds you.

Tuning in and noticing the space that now exists within you.

Aware of your own innate healing energies.

Starting to deepen your breath.

Wiggle your fingers and your toes.

If you'd like,

Maybe roll to one side.

Resting in a fetal position.

As you slowly come all the way back.

Taking your time.

As there's no rush.

Become aware of your breath again as it's moving through your body.

Arriving back into the space.

Perhaps bringing your palms to heart center in Anjuli Mudra.

Thanking yourself for showing up and disconnecting from the busyness of the world.

Taking a pause and being in the stillness for yourself.

I truly enjoyed sharing this time and space with you.
