When we feel stuck or lost, this can be a great way to connect within, to visit the future you, and receive messages and guidance for moving forward. We all face stormy times when we feel there is no way through. My hope is this creates movement that leads you to the other side. You are strong. You are capable. You have everything within you. This is Chelsea Cooper with a meditation for meeting your future self,

Receiving messages,

And going inward.

I just want to say that for someone who has been through grief and loss and so many ups and downs in life like all of us,

That you will get on the other side,

That you will get through it,

That you have everything that you need inside of you to move forward,

Move through.

And even from that place that seems dark and painful,

There is so much opportunity for growth,

For change,

For rebirth.

And you are fully capable of accessing that within you.

So I hope that this meditation reminds you of that,

Reminds you of your strength,

That any storms that are within you or outside of you that you are experiencing,

You will always come out the other side.

I want you to now get into a comfortable position.

Make sure that you feel supported,

That your body can fully relax.

And close your eyes.

Start to focus on your breathing.

Just feeling that rhythm of your breath that is unique to you.

Feeling that energy,

That life,

And that movement and stillness of your breath moving throughout your body.

Notice any areas of tension and deeply breathe into them,

Allowing them to release and let go.

Knowing you are fully supported in this moment.

And any time you feel distracted,

You can always come back to your breath.

As you breathe,

Feel yourself becoming lighter and lighter.

And I want you to imagine that you are walking on the path.

Notice this path in front of you.

Notice what is around you.

What this path is made of.

And just allow yourself to take one step in front of the other.

You may not be clear where this path is leading.

And all you have to do is take one step forward.

And then the next step,

Fully trusting in yourself.

And as you walk,

Notice that along the path is a huge tree.

And your future self is waiting for you under that tree to greet you.

And provide any messages that you are needing to hear.

Walk towards your future self.

And meet them under the tree.

And greet them in any way that feels good for you.

Allow yourself to sit down under the tree with the future you.

And just be open to a conversation.

Is there any messages this future you is wanting you to hear?

Are there any questions that you're wanting to ask?

And then be open to receiving the answers.

I'm going to give you a few moments just to be,

To listen,

To ask and receive.

Okay.

As you receive these messages,

Feel them entering into your heart space.

Feel the relief of this connection.

Feel that resonating within you.

Now you may stand up,

Say goodbye to your future self,

Let them know that you will be back to visit,

To receive,

To listen.

And begin to continue to walk along the path,

One step in front of the other.

Feeling the strength within you.

Feeling the knowing that you are fully connected to yourself.

And I'm going to count us up from one to five,

Bringing us into the space and the time,

Bringing everything that you want with you.

One,

Two,

Feeling refreshed and renewed.

Three,

Four,

Moving your body in a way that feels good.

Opening your eyes.

Five,

Coming back to the space.

Stay in this moment for as long as you need.

Very good visualization with a pleasant voice. It worked very well for me. Just one remark: there is some silent but constant background noise (maybe air conditioning) that disturbs the silence. Thank you for your this one!
