A meditation to slow down, go inward, listen, to renew and reset. We can get in a mode of always doing, forgetting to just be. I hope this helps you connect to yourself, remember your wisdom, and refresh the soul. All my meditations are free flow and from my heart to yours. I am grateful for your energy, wisdom, and self. Thank you for listening.

This is Chelsea Cooper with a meditation for self-care.

It is so important to take time for yourself to slow down just for a moment to renew,

Refresh so that we can show up for ourselves and for others.

You deserve to connect to everything that is happening within you,

To nourish and support your soul.

So I want you to find yourself in a comfortable position,

Making sure that you feel supported,

Feeling the surface beneath you,

Holding your body,

Feel yourself anchoring into this moment,

To this time for yourself,

And start to focus on your breathing,

Allowing it to slow down,

Letting it deepen,

Feel your breath centering you into this space.

You can always come back to your breath at any point you feel distracted,

But allow your breath to melt away the outside world,

Anything external,

Allow your breath to bring you inward.

And I want you to imagine that there is a staircase with 10 steps leading down,

Leading down to a special place just for you.

We are going to walk down this staircase together,

Bringing you to a sacred space to be with yourself,

Taking your first step,

10,

Continuing down,

9,

8,

7,

Feeling your body relax even more,

Stepping down,

6,

5,

4,

Feeling lighter,

Releasing anything you do not want to take with you,

Continuing down,

3,

2,

Taking your final step down,

1,

And find yourself in a sacred space.

Notice what that looks like for you.

What is around you?

What surrounds you and supports you?

Take a moment to walk and take it in,

And look for your perfect spot in this sacred space to sit or lie down.

And once you find this special spot,

Sit and lie down.

And take this moment to have a conversation with yourself.

You are safe here and held and can let go and feel anything you need to feel.

So ask yourself,

What do I need right now in this moment?

What do I need right now in this moment?

How can I give myself what I need?

How can I give myself what I need?

Is there anything within me that is needing to come to the surface for care and attention?

Is there anything within me that is needing to come to the surface for care and attention?

Is there anything within me that is needing to come to the surface for care and attention?

What would feel good for me to be with all of this?

What way would feel good for me to be able to be with all of this?

I'm just going to give you a few moments to hear yourself,

To be with what you need to be with,

To listen,

To receive,

To surrender,

To feel,

To acknowledge.

I'm going to give you a few moments to listen.

I'm going to give you a few moments to listen.

And now I want you to take your hand and place it on your heart.

Feel the beating of your heart,

Your unique rhythm,

And all of the wisdom that is within you,

That is here now.

Feel yourself tending to your heart.

How good it feels to connect to yourself,

To your love,

That you deserve it.

And just say to yourself,

I honor my heart.

I honor myself.

I love all of me.

And anytime you need a reminder of this,

You can always place your hand on your heart.

Take a moment to be grateful for this time,

To be grateful for you for taking this time,

To thank this sacred space for holding you.

And I'm going to count up from one to five,

Bringing you back to the present moment,

Bringing everything you want with you.

One,

Two.

.

.

Feeling good that you took this time,

Feeling ready to come back.

Three,

Four.

.

.

Moving your body in a way that feels so good.

Feeling lighter,

Feeling more connected to yourself.

Feeling grateful.

Five,

You can open your eyes and come back to this space and this time.

Be with yourself for as long as you need.

Thank you so much for your energy and your presence and your love.

I honor you and I thank you.

I am sending so much love your way.

And I'll talk to you soon.

Bye for now.
