Hello and welcome to Change Your Life in a Day Meditations.
My name is Francesca Proudman.
I'm a life and business coach,
And I'm here to help you live your best life.
I have helped thousands of people all over the world change their life for the better,
And today that person could well be you.
This meditation is all about connecting to your truth and remembering the life you came here to live.
Please do not do this meditation if you are driving or operating machinery.
Please wait then to a later time.
Before we go into the meditation,
I invite you to grab a pen and paper so that you can write notes down should any idea come to you during or in particular right after the meditation.
Please take a moment now to find a quiet and comfortable place where you can fully relax and unwind and a place where you will be undisturbed for about 10 to 15 minutes at least.
You can sit or lie down whichever you prefer,
But please make sure your body is well supported and comfortable.
When you are ready,
Gently close your eyes and allow your hands to rest by your sides or on your lap or perhaps on your stomach.
I'd like us all to begin by taking a slow,
Deep breath in through your nose all the way into your diaphragm.
If you have your hand on your stomach at this point,
You will feel the stomach rise as you breathe in through the nose and fill your lungs and diaphragm with wonderful air.
At the end of that deep breath in,
Hold for a couple of seconds before then releasing through the mouth.
We will do a few of these breaths before we actually go into the meditation.
These are wonderful for resetting the nervous system and helping us relax.
So again,
We go in through the nose,
Filling up the lungs and the diaphragm.
Your stomach will be raising.
Then we hold and appreciate just a moment of stillness before we then breathe out through the mouth.
Now take another deep breath in.
Hold for one or two seconds.
And then let go completely,
Feeling calmness wash over you,
Letting go of all the tension that may be stored in your body.
With every breath,
Feel your body soften and your mind relax.
If any thoughts come into your mind,
Just let them move on again like clouds passing through the summer sky.
I'm now going to guide you through a countdown from 10 to 1.
And with each number,
You will feel yourself becoming more relaxed,
More present and more at one with yourself.
Let's go.
Number 10.
You are in a safe,
Wonderful place and you're letting go of the world around you.
Nine.
Your body is becoming more and more relaxed with every breath that you take.
Eight.
You are feeling safe and supported both physically and emotionally.
All is well.
Seven.
On every in-breath,
You breathe in peace and love.
Six.
On every out-breath,
You release any worries you may have and you just let them go.
Five.
Five.
Deeper and deeper,
Letting any thoughts just move on,
Allowing any distractions to just fade into the background of your life.
Four.
With each breath,
Your mind is growing clearer and more peaceful.
Three.
You are feeling more and more relaxed.
Your body is lighter.
You may even feel as if you're floating.
Two.
Your mind is becoming still and you're feeling very present to the moment.
One.
You are now deeply relaxed and at one with yourself.
Let us begin.
I'd like you to imagine yourself standing at the edge of a lush,
Tranquil forest.
The trees are tall and majestic,
Their leaves gently rustling in the breeze.
The sun is peeping through the leaves playfully,
The air feels gentle on your skin.
You are being filled with a sense of renewal.
The forest calls you with peaceful energy,
Inviting you to step onto a winding path that leads deeper into its heart.
As you walk,
You feel the softness of the earth beneath you,
Your feet,
The sounds of nature surrounding you.
Birds singing,
The gentle breeze blowing through the trees and perhaps even the distant murmur of a stream or a giggling child.
As you walk deeper into the forest,
You begin to feel a sense of trust.
You're safe,
Guided and supported by the energy of this beautiful space.
With every step,
You release any lingering doubts or fears.
And you feel more and more at ease,
More connected to the earth beneath you.
You feel totally at one.
Slowly,
The path ahead becomes clearer and you are drawn to an open,
Sunny area in the distance.
It beckons you forward and as you walk toward it,
You feel a deep sense of knowing that you are approaching something incredibly important.
Soon,
You arrive at a beautiful clearing.
The light is warm and inviting and there is a seat with your name carved into it.
You walk over,
Surprised,
And you sit down.
You take a moment and feel into this seat.
All your senses are awakened.
The feeling of the chair,
Sounds of the birds,
The smell in the air.
As you look down next to you on the ground,
You notice a beautiful old-fashioned mirror.
You pick it up by the long handle and examine its beauty,
All the detail.
It's breathtaking.
As you gently hold the mirror up to your face,
You notice the glass is misty.
You wipe it with your hand and as you now look in at your reflection,
Something unusual starts happening.
Looking back at you is a moving image.
A reflection of you,
Yes,
But it is you in motion.
You are laughing and looking incredibly happy and free.
This is you in the life you'd always dreamt of.
You are intrigued and moved to see yourself like this.
You look deeper and deeper into that reflection.
Where are you?
What are you doing exactly?
Who is with you in this image?
Or are you perhaps alone?
You look around the scene and now start to hear voices too.
It's an amazing image that catches your heart totally.
As you watch,
You're really,
Really wondering,
Is this really me?
Free of worry,
Free of sadness,
Free of pain,
Free of regret,
Free to be myself.
The longer you look into this reflection,
The deeper a sense of recognition rises within you.
You know that this is who you are at your core.
This is the life you deserve and it's time to give yourself permission to live it.
This is the version of you that's not defined by the past,
By the stories,
By the fears.
This is the real you.
Whole,
Perfect,
Joyful,
Complete.
Slowly your amazement calms and you find yourself filled with a sense of peace,
A sense of truth.
And at this moment,
The reflection of you in the mirror looks right back at you and your eyes connect.
Sparks fly as this connection is made.
It's extraordinary.
And the look is so incredibly loving.
As if saying,
I've always been here and I've always been with you.
There is no judgment,
No expectation,
No regrets,
Just unconditional love.
Allow yourself now to be embraced by this loving energy,
The beauty in that person,
The beauty in you.
You are remembering your truth.
Every organ and cell in your body is feeling this truth moving through it.
It's rejoicing.
This is a day of rebirth and awakening.
It's a day of remembering.
What does this reflection of you want you to know?
What guidance,
Wisdom or insights does it have for you?
Take a few moments now to listen and receive and trust the messages that come to you,
Knowing that they are meant for your higher good.
When you have received the messages coming to you,
You'll notice how the reflection in the mirror reaches out towards you and their hand passes through the mirror to give you a gift.
It could be a symbol,
A written message or an object that represents your essence and your potential.
Take a moment now to accept this gift wholeheartedly.
May it fill you with the truth of who you are and the infinite potential that lies within you.
Feel the love of this moment,
The wisdom and the power that are uniquely yours.
Know that you can return to this place at any time.
You are always connected to this part of yourself.
It is you.
When you feel ready,
Thank the reflection of you for their wisdom and love and for being with you.
As you do so,
The glass will gently mist over again and you find yourself sitting in that wonderful named seat in the forest.
Everything is somehow different.
You feel different.
Your body is buzzing with energy,
With life force,
Tingling with excitement,
With love,
With peace all at the same time.
The colors around you are more vibrant.
The sounds are even more beautiful.
You feel light and glowing within yourself.
You are so excited to get back to your life,
Bringing this truth with you.
You start now to leave this area of the forest,
Going back along the path,
Hearing sounds you didn't notice before,
Seeing beauty where you didn't see it before.
All your senses have been opened to an incredible world,
A world that you live in,
A world that you chose to come to.
As you leave the forest now,
Take a deep breath in and exhale.
You are bringing back with you the strength and clarity and wisdom of your true self.
What an amazing journey that was.
Slowly you bring your awareness back to the present moment,
Wiggling your fingers and toes.
You're slowly coming back to the chair where you started out on this journey,
Back in the room,
Here and now.
When you are ready,
You may open your eyes,
Bringing this peace and wisdom with you into your waking life.
