There's something that I refer to as the spiritual problem.
Spirituality to me.
Maybe you agree with this or maybe you don't.
It is the connection with something bigger than you.
The connection with the universe,
The connection with everything,
The feeling of whatever it is that is everything,
That runs through everything.
And feeling it.
Inside You.
The problem.
The spiritual problem.
Is that we may have become so attached to our separateness.
That we want to experience the big thing as something separate from us,
To be able to stand back from it and witness it.
And say,
That's it,
I get it.
The thing that is everything.
Of course,
Must also include So in a way it's a problem for me.
But it's not a problem for the me who is not me,
Conventionally.
It's not a problem for the me who just is all of this.
I am the universe.
Yes,
I am.
Charles the story of me in a way,
But who I really am.
Is simply this.
What a relief.
To just simply be this.
So there's an old line from Zen.
That it makes me think of,
And it goes like this.
When you reach the other shore.
You realize there is no other shore.
When you reach the other shore,
You realize There is no other shore.
You could just consider that for a moment or see how it feels to you when you reach the other shore you realize.
There is no other shore.
You could imagine what other shores you've been working towards or you're still working towards.
The idea that there's something out there that you don't have already or you haven't.
Found yet or achieved yet.
When you reach the other shore.
You realize there is no other shore.
So without explaining it any further,
I would maybe invite you to just share in the comments if you want to.
How does that feel to you?
It could feel good,
It could feel.
.
.
Sad?
I might have become really attached to the idea of finding another shore out there,
Or finding the big thing,
Getting the big thing.
When you get the big thing,
Maybe you realize You are the big thing.
Not uniquely you,
But you're part of it.
When you reach the other shore.
You realize.
There is no other shore.
