Welcome.
In this meditation we're going to practice observing,
Releasing and deepening the three steps to helping you release unnecessary pressure.
So beginning by getting into a comfortable posture and starting to shift into your body,
So into feeling,
Into being by mindfully observing the breath and just allowing it to be exactly as it is.
And expanding that awareness now to include your body as a whole,
So maybe becoming aware of sensations in the body.
Just meeting whatever you find with an attitude of allowing.
So just allowing your body to feel how it feels from one moment to the next.
And now taking this observing mind and noticing how you feel emotionally in this moment.
It might not be immediately obvious what emotions are here,
So just giving it time.
And even if it's very subtle,
Just noting in an unattached way what is here.
For example if there's anxiety,
A feeling of uncertainty,
Noting if it's confusion or resentment,
Overwhelm or maybe an emptiness.
Maybe there's parts of you that feel hard,
That feel hot,
That feel tense or soft.
There's no good,
There's no bad,
There's just what is here.
So just observing how the emotional energy is showing up in your body,
In your being in this moment,
And giving space to it.
So letting your emotions unwind into space.
Noticing where a particular emotion is in your body and feeling it out.
And as you continue to observe without judging,
Sense what you might be letting go of through this spacious awareness.
Letting go of resistance to your emotions.
Letting go of the need to fix.
Releasing expectations,
Attachments,
Other people's beliefs and opinions.
Releasing and just feeling,
Just being.
And as you continue to observe and allow,
Notice what's happening.
Notice what's emerging in that space.
Rest,
Ease,
A deep stillness.
So whatever you find in that space,
When you allow,
Allowing it to deepen.
Noticing what it feels like in the body and resting in it.
Letting go of shoulds and trusting that when you fully take care of you,
You're at your most powerful.
