Beginning by taking a comfortable posture that helps you to feel stable and alert.
So back straight,
Shoulders relaxed,
Hands,
Palms up in your lap or resting on your knees or thighs.
Closing your eyes and beginning to just observe how it feels to be in your body in this posture,
In this moment.
So bringing a mindful awareness to body sensations,
Now bringing our attention toward the breath,
So noticing how it feels to be breathing.
So following each breath in and each breath out.
As you do that,
Letting go of any tension in your body,
In your mind.
Just allowing yourself to be here,
To be breathing here and letting that be enough.
So as you breathe now,
Bringing your attention to the area around your heart,
Sensing a softening,
Feeling that soft loving energy of your heart as you breathe in and as you breathe out,
Sensing the noise of life falling away as you return to your open hearted nature.
And as you continue breathing consciously around your heart,
You can help yourself to activate a sense of lovingness,
Of being loving or being loved by thinking about something or someone that you appreciate.
So observing the breath around your heart as you hold this thing or this person in mind.
As you breathe in,
Breathing in love.
As you breathe out,
Breathing out all barriers,
All obstacles in the way of love.
As you breathe in,
Sensing that love is bringing life to you.
Sensing that love is you.
Remembering that this is your true nature.
Fearless,
Open hearted,
Love itself.
