You don't have to be a Reiki shaman healer to use energy healing techniques.
I use energy healing daily and you can too.
These techniques are to help you harmonize your mind,
Body,
And spirit.
Use them for physical relief,
Mental clarity,
And spiritual connection.
Use them in moments of stress or just when you have time to balance or need a break from life.
You see,
We all have the power to heal.
We have the power to heal disease and trauma.
And we have the power to thrive in our own energies.
We are here on this earth to rise up and to live in joy and abundance.
We first have to understand our energies and how to keep them balanced when the world is constantly throwing things our way.
The good news is that these are quick and easy and can be implemented at any time,
Literally anywhere.
Do them while you're brushing your teeth,
Taking a shower,
Doing the dishes,
And maybe even a parked car when you're waiting.
Maybe not driving.
Together,
We will walk through all three of the energetic bodies and review energy techniques for the following.
Physical relief,
Emotional balancing,
And spiritual connection.
First up,
We have spinal twists with breath push.
This technique is good for breaking through energy that is stuck in the body.
I like to do it in the mornings before a walk or a yoga workout.
It takes about two or three minutes and it's done standing.
So simply just stand up and start to twist your body slowly at the waist.
Let your arms flop at your sides like a child that's bored.
In fact,
Let your mind go back to that time when you were a child with nothing to do.
Let your arms hit your sides and as you do,
Push the breath out so it puffs with every arm hit.
In your mind,
Picture the energy breaking away from your body like chipping off ice on an iceberg.
Big chunks of energy are falling away from your body,
Making space.
You can move the arms up and down as they land higher and lower,
But don't control them.
Let them swing and flop freely.
Keep an eye on your mind as you do this.
Watch your thoughts and see what's being released.
What this does for the physical body is it allows it to move energy through the spinal column where your chakras live.
Your seven energy points in your body from root to crown all live along the spinal column and up through the top of your head.
And when we move the energy,
The air and all of the blood that begins to flow,
We are opening up space and getting rid of some of that stagnant energy that just seems to sit,
Right?
So gentle twists at the spine don't go too far.
Only allow what your body feels right.
And there are no times where things are perfect for each.
It's just however long you have in the moment,
However much energy you feel may need to be broken away or moved.
That's how long you take.
These are simply guidelines for you to follow to unstuck your energy points.
The spinal twist allows blood to move up the spine,
Allowing a channel like flow from your root to your crown and allows it to move up and out.
Remember,
Energy has to be moved.
It cannot be destroyed,
Created.
And so we want to just constantly keep things in motion.
That's why movement and the breath are such a core part of energy healing.
Now,
Remember,
As you are twisting and your arms are flopping to take note of the feelings and sensations in your body.
Allow your body to feel without fear.
A lot of times we doubt and we worry.
Are we doing this right?
Is this the right stance?
Should I be feeling this?
Should I stop the worry?
Do I need to think about the monkey mind?
All of those answers lie in your intuitive self,
Which I encourage you to trust along this process.
Trust that you know when to do things.
You know when your body needs it.
You can feel the buildup along your back,
Your shoulders,
Your neck.
And allowing this to simply just move through the process is doing good for your energy body.
You can twist for as long as you'd like,
But allow your body to feel into the movement and notice towards the end of the twist.
