This is the big energy meditation.

And this is a meditation that's very useful to do when you feel disconnected,

When you feel that you don't have enough energy to do what life is demanding of you.

Or when you have a big project coming up and you just want a little bit of an extra boost to see you through.

So go ahead and take a very awake seat where you're either sitting on the edge of your chair or you're sitting on your meditation cushion or on the floor with a little support underneath your hips.

And take a refreshing breath to allow some stale energy to be released out of your body and some vibrant energy to come in through your nostrils into the lowest part of your lungs.

And if your nose is blocked for any reason,

Then you can do a deeper breath in through the back of your throat and through your mouth through the back of your throat into the lowest part of your lungs.

So go ahead and allow your awareness to start to move beyond your lungs outward into the room that you're in,

Into the ecosystem that you're in.

Whether you're in the plains or by the ocean or in the mountains,

In a valley.

And then move your awareness even further beyond so you start to hold the awareness of even the entire planet and feeling the entire planet from your own body,

From where you are and how this planet is circling the sun with all these other planets in our solar system.

And notice from the perspective of the solar system that we have the blue-green planet,

The planet that's alive with life force.

Let yourself relax into this larger perspective of where you are and feel this one star,

The sun,

As part of the Milky Way,

A spiral galaxy.

This one tiny star with hundreds of billions of stars in the Milky Way.

That's one galaxy among hundreds of billions of galaxies in the universe.

Let's sit in the vastness of space,

That which we know so far about the space of which life arises.

And notice that you have the awareness to contain,

To experience all of this,

To hold this larger space,

The expanding universe,

That you are naturally arising within.

I now sense into time this universe coming from the Big Bang 13.

7 billion years ago,

Before then no stars,

No planets.

And how your history is the history of the universe coming into being.

Noticing this long history over time and sitting in this moment looking back.

Let that breathe in and out of you.

And bring your awareness to that point of the energy of the Big Bang,

The big energy,

The big explosion into becoming,

Into life.

The shift from consciousness into form.

And if energy is neither created nor destroyed,

Feel into the energy potential that was your birth.

The birth of all life.

And let this Big Bang energy fill your awareness,

Fill every cell of your body.

This energy of potentiality.

This is who you are.

You are a part of the universe that can't be separated.

That you arise out of this energy.

But this energy,

Energy itself,

Dynamicism in action is your very nature.

Now take a moment and be energy.

Be the big energy.

You are the universal energy.

It's not outside of you.

It's not separate than you.

It is you.

And simply be the big energy.

Notice how this is your very nature.

And as you are big energy,

Relax into being this.

So that there's no effort.

It's simply your nature.

Recharge yourselves with this very friction,

Dynamicism of your energetic nature.

Recharge.

Replenish.

Simply by resting awareness on your very nature.

That this dynamicism that you are is arising in a great stillness.

This paradox is at the same time.

So while you're big energy,

You're also at rest.

Replenishing.

Renewing.

Just simply by being.

Simply by being present to who you really are.

The cosmos in action.

And also at rest.

At the same time.

So whenever you feel depleted or overwhelmed or need an extra boost,

Simply take a moment and be energy in the largest context that you are the energy of the universe.

And you are also always at rest,

Naturally expansive.

There's room for everything.
