Welcome to organ body meditation.

We spend so much time taking care of the external body and often give little thought to the organ body.

Organs that keep us alive and healthy.

You can choose to either lay down or sit.

Whatever choice you make,

Take your position now.

Get comfortable.

Soften in the body.

Soften your effort.

Now scan your body from head to toe.

Noticing any tension held in the outer body.

The container of the body.

Your skin.

Breathe into any tension with each out breath willing and softening to your entire outer body.

Now scan from head to toe,

Noticing any tension held in the bones,

Muscles,

Ligaments or tendons.

The structural body.

And allow all tension to subside.

Scan from head to toe,

Noticing any residual tension held in the organ body.

With your breath,

Soften and release the tension.

Extend the out breath.

You may even like to exhale with a sigh.

Feel the body as a whole laying on the floor.

Feel the weight of the body heavy and sinking.

Bones are heavy.

Organs are heavy.

Skin is soft.

And release any holding.

Inhale through your toes all the way up the front of the body to the crown of the head.

And then exhale all the way down the spine and out your toes.

Continue in one long wave,

Inhaling through your toes up the front of the body all the way to the crown of the head.

And exhale along the spine and out the toe.

One more time.

One more time.

Now inhale through the toes,

Follow the breath up the front of the shin,

Thighs,

Pelvis and pause at the navel.

Breathe here,

Sending energy and prana into the abdominals.

Blood and cells moving freely,

Matter unobstructed through your bowels and stomach.

With your breath release all fear here.

Feel the freedom.

Feel the softness.

And feel the release in your lower abdominals.

Now take your breath all the way from the toes up the front of the body and into the kidneys.

Inhale fresh blood and feel your kidneys flushing and cleansing.

Exhale release any feelings of anger out here.

And notice a sense of renewal.

Inhaling and exhaling,

Flushing the kidneys clean.

Releasing any residual resentment or anger,

Fear.

Travelling up from your toes take your breath to your liver,

Gallbladder,

Spleen and pancreas.

And breathe here.

Imagine on the inhalation fresh blood flushing,

Moving,

Cleansing,

Detoxing.

On the exhale all of the waste.

Dissolve.

Breathe in fresh energy.

Exhale regret.

Health issues or frustration.

Inhale for renewal.

Exhale for letting go.

Now slowly take the breath all the way up the front of the body to the heart space.

Feel your heart beating.

Notice the rise and fall of your chest in slow rhythm with your heartbeat.

Imagine on the inhale your heart opening like a flower to the morning sun.

Each exhale brings a sense of openness,

Expansion,

A connection to something greater,

A connection to love.

Breathe here,

Resting in the knowledge that you are not only loved,

You are love.

Each inhalation the chest expands creating space for energy,

For love.

Each exhale releasing hurt and grief and sadness.

Take one final inhale all the way to the head and pause here.

And send the breath to the brain.

Feel the energy moving back to front,

Left to right,

Blood flowing,

Neurons firing.

And settle in the midbrain,

About 2 centimeters in from the third eye.

Breathe into the midbrain and use the breath to bring a sense of peace and calm to the body.

Resting in your pineal gland,

Feel the calm wash over your whole entire body.

Return to your natural breath,

Letting the chest gently rise and fall with no effort.

You are being breathed,

You are not breathing.

Body is heavy and yielding,

Organs are heavy and yielding.

Muscles,

Bones,

Ligaments,

Tender,

Heavy and yielding.

Return to your natural breath,

Scanning your body one last time,

Noticing the subtle changes in the organ body.

Turn up the corners of your mouth and give a smile and a wink to those magnificent organs that support you everyday.

Bring your hands together in front of the heart space and bow your head deeply in gratitude for all that you are and all that you have been given.

And together we say,

Namaste.

You are being breathed,

You are not breathing.

You are being breathed,

You are not breathing.

You are being breathed,

You are not breathing.

You are being breathed,

You are not breathing.

You are being breathed,

You are not breathing.

You are being breathed,

You are not breathing.

You are being breathed,

You are not breathing.
