This is Casey.

This is an energizing breath pattern to help you feel awake,

Grounded and alive.

I would say this track is perfect for mornings or whenever you wish to reset your energy.

This breathing pattern is two inhales through the nose,

One into the belly allowing the belly to rise,

The second inhale is into the chest allowing the breath to expand upward.

You can also place one hand on your heart,

One hand on your belly to make sure you are breathing into the belly and then chest.

As for the exhale,

It's just one long exhale releasing the breath either through the nose or the mouth.

There's no right or wrong here.

I really recommend you to play this track a few times and allow yourself to find the most perfect way that works for you.

If this is your first time practicing,

You can start with exhaling through the nose.

Also note that a slight dizziness or lightheadedness is completely normal but of course tune in to your body's wisdom and if and whenever it feels too much,

Come down to a pause or try another breathing technique instead.

When you're ready in a comfortable position,

You'll start to exhale all the air out of your lungs.
