This is Casey.

Welcome to drift into sleep.

Find a comfortable position,

Either sitting or preferably laying in your bed.

Once you're there,

Take a few deep breaths in and out through your nostrils.

Slow,

Deep inhales.

Slow,

Deep exhales.

Each time lengthening your breath in and lengthening your breath out.

Soften your shoulders.

Relax your jaw.

Soften your belly so that every inhale is received by a soft belly and every exhale through a soft belly.

If the mind is wandering,

Know that that is okay.

That is what the mind is designed to do and there's no need to blame or to force or to push any thoughts out of the mind.

Just refocus onto the breath.

Bring your awareness back to your gentle and soft breath as if nothing else occur and nothing else exist in this moment.

Transporting,

Teleporting yourself to the space where it's only you and you.

It's only you and the next breath in.

It's only you and the next breath out.

And every breath brings you deeper and deeper into relaxation.

Every breath you become heavier and heavier into your body.

Every breath you are letting go of this day.

Gently in your mind's eye,

Imagine,

Visualize a warm wave of energy.

Perhaps it has a color or a texture or a feeling flowing all the way from the top of your head through your crown,

Relaxing the scalp,

The top of the head.

This warm wave of energy flowing down,

Relaxing your forehead,

Relaxing your eyebrows,

Softening the areas around your eyes,

Softening the areas around your nose,

Relaxing your lips and the space around your lips,

Relaxing your cheeks,

Your jaw,

Your ears,

The front of your face,

The back of your head,

All the way down through your neck,

Relaxing your shoulders,

Your arms,

Your elbows,

Forearms,

To the left fingers,

All the way to the right fingers.

This warm wave of energy flowing down through your chest,

Through your stomach,

The upper back,

Middle back,

Lower back.

Anywhere that this warm wave of energy touches,

Immediately soften and relax.

Relaxing your hips,

Your glutes,

Your thighs,

Your knees,

Your calves,

Your shins,

All the way into your ankles,

Heavy into the heel of your feet.

This warm wave of energy flowing all the way into your feet until it touches every little toe.

Now feeling completely relaxed in your torso,

The upper half of your body.

Completely relaxed in the lower half of your body,

The front part of your body.

Heavy dropping into the back of your body and feeling your body becoming heavier.

It's dropping heavier into the support of your bed,

The support of your home,

The support of the earth,

Completely supported by the earth.

There's nothing more you need to do.

Nowhere else you need to be.

It's safe for you to completely let your thoughts go.

It's safe for you to completely let your attention go.

There's nothing more for you to hold on to now.

Dear one,

You can just relax,

Surrender and gently let go.

Keep breathing through your relaxed breath.

No need to control your breathing.

Know that your body knows how to breathe.

In this moment,

All you have to do is to just be.

Letting go of the day.

Letting go of your effort.

Letting go even of your ease.

Letting go of your breath until the breath becomes so subtle you can barely detect it.

Slowly and slowly,

Your whole body is just melting.

Melting and drifting into sleep.

In this moment,

You are completely safe.

In this moment,

You are completely held.

Your heart is soft.

Your body is soft.

Your mind is quiet.

The space around you is quiet.

Now is the time for you to completely relish in the stillness and the silence that is all around you.

There's nothing more for you to do.

Nowhere else you need to be but here.

Just be here.

As you drift into sleep,

Your whole body is recalibrating.

Your whole system resetting.

As you drift into sleep,

You're allowing your system to rest in safety in preparation for a brand new day that awaits you as the sun rises.
