Hello and welcome to tonight's meditation,

Evening Primrose.

Let your body settle into a comfortable position.

Let yourself move around a little bit and find a place where the earth can hold you and you can breathe fully and deeply.

Gently close your eyes,

Closing the curtains to your outer world.

You are supported here.

This is your space of rejuvenation,

Your place of deep,

Nourishing rest.

Inhale for three seconds and exhale slowly through your mouth.

Breathe in through your nose and exhale.

Release any tension so you can drop further into your comfortable position.

Inhale stillness and calm.

Exhale let go.

Notice your breath.

Notice the patterns of your easy and settling breath.

Surrender your senses.

Allow your thoughts to slow down.

Breathing slowly and calmly.

Slow and calm.

Release the need to do anything.

Tomorrow when you wake up,

You will have all the answers to your thoughts and you will be filled with energy.

But now is the time to sleep.

This is your time to rest.

Your mind is free.

Your body warm and comfortable.

Imagine yourself walking outside.

Walking between trees.

Their leaves moving in a slight breeze.

You walk toward a clearing in the trees and find an open meadow.

Tall green grass flows gently.

You lie down as the breeze caresses your skin and you begin to relax your body.

Let your whole body be heavy,

Heavy like wet sand.

As you lay here,

Invite in the deep comfort of the night.

Enter into the night's mystery and come into the darkness of solitude.

Pull moonlight over your body like a blanket.

With the sun descending in the west,

The stars gleam golden light above you.

Come restfully into the realm of sleep,

Fading into twilight.

The birds are silent and the trees are hushed.

You drift.

You drift like a cool breeze against your cheek.

You drift along the winds that carry the scent of a field of roses.

Your body soft,

Soft like the silk of a blooming lily.

Your heart center opens with every slow breath you take.

A blossom quivers in the meadow and a bud begins to open.

The golden flower blooms,

Emitting a rich,

Fragrant smell.

Golden light gleams from your heart.

You are open to the world and all of its beauty.

You breathe a pure and holy feeling.

You lie here breathing in and out.

In and out.

And you begin to relax your body.

Relax your toes.

Your feet.

Relax your knees.

Your thighs.

Your hips.

Relax your legs.

Relax your low back.

Mid back.

And upper back.

Relax your belly.

Your chest.

Your shoulders.

Relax your entire upper body.

Relax your fingers.

Your hands.

Relax your arms.

Allow them to be heavy stones.

Relax your head.

And allow your eyelids to be heavier.

All is well.

Safely rest.

Drift.

The night will carry you with love.
