Closing your eyes and allowing your body to relax.
Knowing that you are safe and protected at all times.
Begin by taking in three deep relaxing breaths in through your nose and out through your mouth.
As you exhale allowing any stress or tension to leave your body.
As you continue to breathe in and out allowing calm and relaxation to shower your head.
Allowing any tightness from your head and your neck to disappear.
Now releasing any tension from your shoulders and your arms as your hands and fingers relax.
As you continue to breathe in and out allowing this sense of calm to travel down your spine,
Embracing your back,
Your stomach and your hips as they all relax.
And now allowing this release to remove any tightness from your thighs and your calves as your feet and toes relax.
Feeling yourself embraced in ultimate peace and feeling as light as a feather.
Now seeing yourself in your special place,
A garden,
A beach or another sacred space that feels special for you.
This is your personal sacred oasis,
A place you can go to at any time for peace,
Relaxation and to connect with your inner self.
Noticing how this space feels today and becoming aware of anything that draws your attention.
Today we are off to see a stage show in an open-aired Athenaeum.
You notice your path veering off to the right and you follow it to a large beautiful open-aired stadium.
You walk through an opening between the barriers surrounding the stadium to see one chair sitting in front of a large stage.
This chair is just for you and you walk on over to it and take a seat.
As you do,
The seat becomes the most comfortable couch you have ever sat in.
You feel safe and nurtured in this seat.
You look around your atrium and notice anything that draws your attention.
You now look up at the stage and notice a beautiful yellow light beaming from the glorious Sun overhead.
It has projected what looks to be a spotlight on the stage.
Although you can also feel the warmth filling every cell of your body and you take a moment to soak up this sunshine.
A drama begins to play out on the stage with characters or actors playing out a scene.
This scene represents a part of your psyche that needs balancing.
I will leave you here for a few moments as you watch the scene play out.
As the scene ends you trust in your infinite wisdom and know how this drama can be resolved.
You share your wisdom with the characters and watch as the drama is healed through your wisdom.
Feeling empowered with this new understanding of your patterns,
You stand up from your seat and walk back through the opening in the barriers.
There is a gift waiting for you and you pick it up.
If it's a box you open it.
You thank your Athenaeum today for the knowledge it has shared with you as you walk back along your path back to your sacred space.
And now spending a few moments in your sacred space becoming aware of any changes and then slowly bringing your awareness back into the room you are in and back into your body.
Slowly stretching as you take in three deep grounding and awakening breaths in through your nose and out through your mouth.
Wiggling your fingers and your toes and opening your eyes when you're ready.
