This is the first in a series of seven meditations that I’ll be sharing over the coming weeks. This meditation is designed to guide you in connecting with your subconscious mind to uncover what may be blocking your sense of groundedness in life. Feeling ungrounded can create obstacles to manifesting your desires. Closing your eyes,

Allow your body to relax.

Knowing that you are safe and protected at all times,

Let's begin by taking in three deep,

Relaxing breaths.

In through your nose and out through your mouth.

And as you exhale,

Allowing any stress or tension to leave your body.

And as you continue to breathe in and out,

Allowing calm and relaxation to shower your head.

And allowing any tightness from your head and your neck to disappear.

And now releasing any tension from your shoulders and your arms.

As your hands and fingers relax,

As you continue to breathe in and out,

Allowing this sense of calm to travel down your spine,

Embracing your back,

Your stomach and your hips as they all relax.

And now allowing this release to remove any tightness from your thighs and your calves,

As your feet and toes relax.

Now being embraced in ultimate peace and feeling as light as a feather.

Taking yourself to your special place,

Whether it's a garden,

A beach or another sacred space that feels special for you.

This is your personal sacred oasis,

A place you can go to at any time for peace,

Relaxation and to connect with your inner self.

Notice how this space feels for you today and become aware of anything that draws your attention.

As you continue to look around,

You notice a large tree in the distance.

From this distance,

Notice how strong your tree appears.

Notice how the branches are formed and the colour of the foliage.

Are there any flowers or fruit in this tree?

Is there wildlife in or around this tree?

As you walk towards the tree,

Become aware of its overall health and vitality.

Spend a few moments walking around the tree.

As you continue to observe your tree,

You become aware of a small opening in the tree trunk.

You peer in and notice that you can see all the way down into the roots.

These roots represent an aspect of your groundedness and abundance.

Wanting to learn more about the health of your tree and wanting to gain an insight into this part of your psyche,

Your body shrinks so that you are able to climb into the hole and slide down to the depths of the roots.

At the bottom there is a large space with a red tinge lighting the area.

There is a drama playing out here.

I will leave you for a few moments as you watch the scene play out,

Trusting that you have the infinite wisdom to resolve any drama.

You step in.

I will leave you here now as you resolve this drama.

With this drama now resolved,

It's time to climb out of the tree.

You see a ladder and easily climb back up towards the opening,

And as you climb out of the tree,

You become normal size again.

You look back at your tree and notice how resolving the drama in the roots has impacted the tree.

Take a moment to notice what the changes are.

Before leaving your tree,

You notice a small gift next to the tree and you pick it up.

If it's a box or bag,

You open it.

You thank your tree for its wisdom today in allowing you to connect with this particular pattern in your life,

And you walk back to your sacred space.

And now spending a few moments in your sacred space,

Becoming aware of any changes.

And then slowly bringing your awareness back into the room you're in and back into your body.

Slowly stretching as you take in three deep,

Grounding and awakening breaths,

Wiggling your fingers and your toes and opening your eyes when you're ready.
