Find a comfortable position,
Whether seated or lying down on your back.
Arrange yourself until you feel fully comfortable and able to settle into stillness.
Take a deeper breath in from your abdomen,
Breathing fully into this moment,
And exhale completely,
Feeling the places where you're supported and tangibly held by what's surrounding you.
Do this two more times at your own pace,
Arriving here and now.
If you feel the need for more grounding and settling,
Place your palms downward toward the earth.
If you feel the need for more lightness and momentum,
Turn your palms upward toward the sky.
Now close your eyes,
Become still,
And relax all expression from your face.
Allow the breath to move naturally.
Inhale and repeat silently,
AUM.
Exhale and repeat silently,
AUM.
Continue with the pace of your own breath,
Bringing full awareness and attention to each moment of AUM as you hear it within.
AUM,
Inhale.
AUM,
Exhale.
If you become distracted,
Simply guide yourself back and resume with the mantra of AUM.
Remain in the moment.
Welcome the presence of AUM in your awareness as you continue by yourself.
