Welcome to this meditation on connecting to your inner power.
I invite you to find a comfortable seat allowing your eyelids to close,
Feeling your focus turning inside,
Bringing your awareness to the gentle flow of your breath as it comes in and as it goes back out.
And as you focus inside,
Connecting into the place inside you where you feel your inner power,
Even if it feels quite small in this moment or perhaps it feels strong and powerful.
Just noticing where in your body that feeling arises,
Perhaps it's in the solar plexus or the belly or the sacral chakra,
Just noticing where that feeling of power arises in you.
Now imagining that as a flame within you,
Visualising that flame glowing radiantly and brightly within you.
Now with your awareness,
Imagine that you're zooming in towards that feeling,
Towards that flame,
Your inner strength,
No matter how big or how small.
At the same time it comes towards you.
And as you draw towards each other,
You notice a figure inside this flame or this ball of energy.
The figure becomes clearer and you notice that it is your higher self,
The part of you that is always powerful,
Always empowered,
Strong,
Radiant and clear.
This part of you comes right up close,
Takes your hands and you look at each other in the eyes,
Taking three deep breaths together,
Breathing in,
Breathing out,
Two more breaths and now feeling yourself starting to merge with this part of you,
Your higher self.
Feeling yourself,
Feeling yourself merging together,
They become you and you become them.
And as you step into that,
Feel your own radiance,
Feel your own power.
Allow that to start to radiate out,
Not just in your physical body but to fill your energy field,
The space around you.
Feeling your energy field glowing brightly,
Strong,
Contained,
Powerful,
Stepping into yourself,
Your higher self that is always empowered and this is your natural state.
Feel that strength of your energy field,
Feel your own power and allowing this process to continue,
Notice if there is any fear or resistance that arises as you allow yourself to feel your own power.
And it's not power over anyone else,
It's a power within yourself,
Allowing you to take empowered action that honours yourself,
To think empoweredly and to really be simply in your own natural state.
And if there is any fear or resistance,
Allow it to be there.
Ask it,
What would you like to show me?
And why are you here?
Allow it to be there and notice if the fear or the resistance to being powerful has anything it wants to say,
If it wants to be heard or perhaps it wants to protect you.
Allow it to speak.
And if there is any fear or resistance that is ready to be released,
Letting it go out through the soles of your feet and down into the earth,
Releasing it down into the earth,
Letting it go.
And it may take some time to release the fear or resistance completely and that's okay.
Allow it to be there,
Allow it to show you what it wants to show you and be heard by you,
But at the same time maintaining your connection to your higher self,
To your own inner power,
Your own inner strength,
Your radiant self which cannot be taken away.
It's always free and it's always there.
Saying to yourself,
I am powerful.
I take empowered action.
I honour myself.
I honour others.
I relax into my natural state,
Into my natural state of being.
Remembering that the fear or whatever else is arising is all perfect.
It's all meant to be there and simply by having our awareness on it,
Allowing it to show us what it wants to show us,
It helps it to release and shift,
Especially if we can remember this part of us that is completely free and powerful even if we may not feel it all the time,
Knowing that it's there.
And just before we come out of the meditation,
Just visualising your energy field strong and powerful,
Shining in your own brilliance,
Your own brightness and allowing others to do the same.
Seeing yourself walking in this space,
Going about your day and having interactions from this space,
Knowing that if it gets shaken that's okay.
It can always come back.
Going into your radiance,
Your inner strength,
Your inner power,
Taking a nice deep breath here and then when you're ready,
Can slowly open your eyes and come out of meditation.
