This is a foundational light stream, body scan meditation that is a perfect way to begin or end your day or any time you're feeling called to ground, relax and rest your body, mind + soul. It will support the shift of energy to peace and love.

Hello,
Thank you for joining me for this meditation today.
My name is Kara and I will be guiding you along a meditation to deeply connect with your body and find grounding and healing within.
Find a comfortable position either seated or lying down and allow yourself to become as comfortable as possible,
Gathering any props,
Blankets,
Pillows that you may desire to increase your comfort level.
Begin to settle in,
Feeling the support of the earth beneath your body,
Feeling your body grow heavier and heavier as you melt into the support beneath you.
Begin to witness and observe your breath without trying to change it in any way.
Simply allow it to be breathed through your body.
With each exhale,
Feel your body growing more and more relaxed,
Heavier and heavier within the support beneath you as you release and let go of all efforting.
Now bringing your attention and awareness to a brightly glowing ball of energy just above your crown chakra.
Breathing in and noticing the brightness,
The radiance of this healing golden light circling and swirling just above your head.
With every inhale,
This light grows brighter and with every exhale,
It expands and increases in size.
Noticing and feeling the sensation of your crown chakra,
The crown of your head as it opens and welcomes this light in on your next inhale breath.
Breathing this radiant healing ball of light energy in through the crown of your head,
Feeling its warmth fill your brain,
Fill your entire head as it begins to float down on your exhale.
Your entire head filled with this light,
This radiant healing golden light of energy.
Then with every inhale,
You notice it brighten and with every exhale,
It expands and moves down through your neck,
Filling your shoulders.
Inhaling it brightens and exhaling it moves down to fill your chest cavity,
Circling and swirling around your heart space,
Growing brighter with every inhale,
Expanding with every exhale.
The light expands down through your arms,
Your elbows,
Forearms,
Wrists,
Hands,
And out through the tips of your fingers.
Your entire arm,
Chest,
Neck,
And head radiates with this healing golden light energy.
On your next exhale,
This light begins to extend and float down through your solar plexus at your navel,
Down into your sacral chakra,
Filling your womb space,
Your lower belly,
Your pelvic bowl,
Feeling the light,
The warmth,
Radiance of this light,
Filling your entire torso and chest.
With every inhale,
It brightens,
With every exhale,
It expands,
Moving down through your hips,
Your glutes,
And into your thighs,
Filling you with this radiant healing golden light of energy.
This life force energy flows through you,
Shining lightness into any dark crevices buried deep within,
Removing any obstacles,
Burning away anything that no longer serves you.
Feeling this light brightens and exhaling,
It expands and moves down to fill your thighs,
Your knees,
Your calves,
Down through your ankles,
Into your heels,
The soles of your feet,
And down through your toes,
Filled with this light radiating warmth,
Healing,
Love,
And compassion throughout your entire being.
With every inhale,
It brightens,
And with every exhale,
It expands and extends,
Your entire body filled with this light,
This radiant life force energy.
On your next exhale,
Begin to expand this light beyond the physical limitation of your body.
Feel this light expand out an inch or two from your body,
Radiant,
Healing,
Loving energy.
Feeling the warmth,
The connection of this light force,
This life force energy as it courses through your body and expands out from your physical body into your auric field,
Growing brighter with each inhale and expanding further and further with each exhale.
Expanding a foot or two from your body,
Expanding to fill the entire room that you are in,
Expanding to fill the entire building that you are currently in.
Feeling this energy,
This life force energy that you've created expand beyond the building that you are in,
Expanding to fill the entire town or city,
The entire state,
Country,
And reaching out beyond to impact and fill the entire world,
Letting this vibrational energy of love and compassion extend beyond you,
Out to fill the entire world.
Perhaps you envision your energy merging with the energy of the other meditators that are practicing with you right now,
Creating this force field of loving kindness and compassion,
Allowing yourself to rest here in the comfort,
In the love and compassion of this energy that you've created.
Rest here.
Staying in this force field of divine life force energy for as long as you desire to today.
You may wish to continue to remain in this deep meditative state,
Feeling the flow of this divine life force energy,
This radiant golden light energy for as long as you desire.
Whenever you are ready,
You can begin to call your energy back into the present moment,
Continuing to feel the expansiveness of your expression of love and compassion out into the world as you call your consciousness back towards your body.
Perhaps desiring to deepen your breath as you reawaken the body,
Noticing and observing every point of contact your body makes with the earth beneath you and sending your breath into each of those points of contact as you reawaken your body and your mind to the present moment.
Becoming aware of the room that you are in and any sounds that you can hear near or far becoming aware of the windows and the doors in the room that you are in the walls that surround you the ceiling that protects you from above.
You may wish to bring some micro movements of the fingers and the toes just to call more and more energy and alertness into your body.
And whenever you are ready,
I invite you to turn onto one side if you are lying down and press your way back up into a seated upright posture continuing to have your eyes softened or closed if they have been.
Taking a moment to let your body adjust to the seated upright posture.
Maybe gently bowing your head,
Chin towards chest,
Placing both hands on your heart to give yourself grace and thanks and gratitude for meditating today.
Then as you are ready,
You can gently begin to blink your eyes open,
Gaze at the room around you orienting yourself to the physical presence that you are in.
It has been a pleasure to guide you along this journey today.
With all this love and compassion in your heart,
Go through your day spreading it out into the world around you.
