Hello,

My name is Kara and I am going to do a reading from Pixie Light Horse,

Entitled Honoring Depth.

Thank you for this day of submergence.

Willingly escort me into my ancient inner well to retrieve the good medicine.

Challenge me to share about my secret places,

The cavernous regions that select few are invited into.

Guide me to choose my listeners with care,

Keeping company today with those who have examined their shadowy undercurrents and offered to be safe havens.

Help me gather closely with those who do not fear the chasms and recognize them as fellow divers who know the terrain of the holy well.

Help me trust that the flood will not drown me,

But open me to the sacredness of life.

Let my journey into what lies beneath the surface be rewarding.

Help me appreciate the weight of my wild and enduring spirit,

Traumas,

And vulnerabilities.

Engulf me in trust for my ability to hold this space inside of me,

Rich with memories,

Offering,

And passions.

Enable those who know my depths to reflect my magic back at me.

Get me to reciprocity.

Help me accept people as works in progress.

Dissolve my judgment when invited into their watery dimensions.

Teach me to see the best in them and myself.

Help me move beyond the programming that instructs me to share only what's on the surface.

Grant me the concentration to stay with myself when I'm opening up and allow myself to be heard and known.

Discourage me from peeking into the portal,

Then slamming it shut again out of fear or pride.

Tolerate no stonewalling or sullenness.

When I cling to the shallows,

Provide me with the resources and support to dive deeper.

Kindle in me a desire to know myself thoroughly and see kindred relationships as encouragement to forgo the frivolous.

Protect my energy as I venture down with others.

Plunge me not into mean-spirited communication where shadows are tools that perpetuate dysfunction.

Help me engage and exchange intimacies and ideas respectfully.

Help me be met with equal intensity and passion.

Strengthen me to discern fact from fallacy and depth from delusion.

And keep moving.
