Tonight we gather under the glow of the October full moon,
A time of illumination,
Reflection,
And release.
The full moon always invites us to pause,
To notice what has come to light,
And to let go of what no longer serves us.
This October moon carries the energy of harvest,
Of gathering the wisdom from the past season,
And preparing to move into the darker,
Quieter months with clarity and intention.
So let's use this sacred time together to soften,
Reflect,
And release.
This meditation will be infused with Reiki healing energy,
So if you are open to receive this energy,
Simply accept in your mind's eye.
Let's begin.
Softly close your eyes.
Take a deep,
Slow breath in through the nose,
And exhale fully through the mouth.
Again,
Breathe in deeply,
Filling your belly,
Your chest,
Your lungs,
And slowly letting go.
As you repeat one more time,
Feel your body soften with the exhale.
Allow your shoulders to drop,
Your jaw to unclench,
Your belly to relax as you settle back into a softer,
Gentler breath.
And as you do,
Allow me a moment to connect.
Now,
Imagine roots extending down from the base of your spine and the soles of your feet.
Deep into the earth.
With each breath,
Feel yourself grounding,
Steady,
Connected to the nurturing energy of the earth below.
Now bring your awareness upward.
Picture the October full moon above you.
Bright,
Glowing,
And radiant.
Her silver light bathes everything it touches in clarity.
Imagine her light streaming down towards you.
Surrounding your body in a soft,
Shimmering glow.
Breathe it in.
Each inhale draws that lunar light into your heart,
Your mind,
And your energy field.
Each exhale releases energy,
Releases heaviness,
Worry,
Or tension.
Let yourself feel safe here.
Held between earth and the moon above.
The October full moon is a mirror.
She shines her light so you can see what has been hidden.
Ask yourself gently,
What has been weighing on me?
What am I ready to release?
What no longer aligns with the version of me I am becoming?
Trust whatever rises in your awareness.
You don't have to force it.
Just notice.
Now,
Picture yourself holding all of this.
The old patterns,
Fears,
Doubt,
Or heaviness in your hands.
See it as smoke,
As shadows,
As leaves ready to fall from the tree.
And when you're ready,
Lift your hands up toward the full moon in your mind's eye.
Offer it all to her light.
Watch as the moon gently dissolves it,
Transforming it into pure energy.
Released back into the universe.
Feel yourself becoming lighter,
Clearer,
Freer.
Now,
With space cleared inside you,
Breathe deeply and invite in something new.
The moon reminds us that cycles are constant.
Endings always lead to new beginnings.
Now,
Ask yourself,
What energy do I wish to call in this season?
What seeds of intention am I ready to plant in the fertile soil of my life?
Allow a word,
A feeling,
Or an image to arise.
Hold it close to your heart as though the moonlight itself is sealing it within you.
Take three deep breaths now,
In through the nose,
Out through the mouth.
With each breath,
Feel gratitude for this moment,
For your willingness to pause,
To reflect,
To honor your own journey.
Know that you are always supported by the earth,
By the moon,
By your own inner wisdom.
When you are ready,
Gently bring awareness back to your body.
The room you are in.
And all that is around you.
Wiggle your fingers and toes.
And when it feels right,
Open your eyes.
Returning to the present moment,
Renewed.

And light.
