Hello and welcome to this outpouring of gratitude meditation.
My name is Candy Foster and I am a mindfulness meditation instructor and a Reiki Master Teacher.
Nothing makes me feel better at any time of the day than taking some time to stop and take note of the things that I am grateful for in my life.
That is why I created this meditation so that you can experience the same feeling any time you wish.
Are you ready to get your gratitude on?
Perfect.
Then let's do this.
Grab yourself a comfortable place where you won't be disturbed and get in a comfortable position with a straight spine.
Nice and tall.
And take a deep breath in through the nose and release it out through the mouth.
Breathe in deeply and release fully.
Just take in one more big deep breath and let it all go.
Start to settle into a softer,
Gentler breath and follow the rhythm.
In and out.
In and out.
Just allow yourself to flow with each breath.
Feel your body starting to relax and allow your mind to quiet.
Follow the rhythm of your heart.
Bring your mind to your heart space.
Maybe even place your hand on your heart.
Bring to mind one thing that you are grateful for in this moment.
There are no rules,
Big or small,
It doesn't matter.
Whatever it is that you're grateful for in this moment,
Allow that thing to bring something else to your mind.
Something else you're grateful for.
What does that bring to mind?
Let one gratitude build on the other.
Doesn't matter if it makes sense.
There's no need for patterns,
Just roll with what comes up for you.
Allow that feeling to grow in your heart.
As more and more things come up,
Fill your heart,
Fill with joy and the realization of how blessed you really are in this moment and in this life.
Now put both hands over your heart,
Almost to hold it all in there.
Holding it all,
Fuller and fuller.
Now pull your hands away,
Let the outpouring begin.
Feel all of this gratitude flowing all around you.
As the outpouring continues,
You realize the outpouring is you sharing your blessings with the world.
When we realize all that we have,
We also realize how much we have to share.
Allow the outpouring to flood everything around you.
You are immersed in all the joy and blessings of your life.
Allowing it to just circle around you like a beautiful swirling cloud of wonder.
As it swirls,
It pulls even more things you're grateful for.
And that cloud grows and grows and grows until it fills the sky and the clouds cannot hold anymore.
This beautiful cloud of blessings starts to rain down a gentle soaking rain of blessings on all below.
Spreading love and joy as far as you can see.
Really feel this joy in your heart.
It is now time to come back to your physical space.
Notice the space around you.
Take a deep breath in and start to wiggle your fingers and toes.
Take a deep breath in and come back when you are ready.
