I am Candy Foster,
A mindfulness meditation instructor and a Reiki Master Teacher.
Today I'd love to help you get grounded with the help of Earth Spirit.
Earth Spirit is imagined as the Earth personified as an immortal entity or deity within the Earth.
I think of it as an angel or guide dedicated to enhancing our experience with the Earth's energy.
In this meditation,
We will use the Earth Spirit energy to assist in the grounding process.
So let's find a comfortable space where you will not be disturbed.
Close your eyes and take a deep breath in through the nose and out through the mouth.
Another deep,
Full breath in and release.
One more.
Take a deep replenishing inhalation and a full relaxing exhalation.
Settle into a more natural breath.
Just follow it in and out.
Continuing in and out.
Let the rhythm of the breath help you settle into your physical space.
Feel your connection to the surface beneath you.
Make that connection in your mind.
As you focus on your breath,
Imagine that surface becoming the Earth itself.
Weather on the grass,
The forest floor,
The sand on the beach,
Whatever resonates with you.
Bring this image into your mind.
Be in this place right now.
Start to grow roots down into the earth and the ground.
Grow,
Grow,
Grow.
Extending further and further into the planet.
All the way to the center of the earth.
When those roots reach the very center of the Earth's core,
They become an extension of your breath.
You are now breathing through the Earth's spirit.
As you exhale,
Let go of anything that does not feel good.
Anything that is not serving you.
As you breathe in,
Receive new,
Revitalizing energy from Earth spirit,
Mother Earth,
Gaia.
With each exhale,
Let even more go.
Let your breath become one with the energy of the core,
One with Earth spirit.
Take in the energy that you need.
Be willing to receive.
This is a time to recharge.
Let go of anything that does not feel good.
You are now fully charged,
Revitalized,
Ready for the day.
Re-grounded with Mother Earth,
Earth spirit.
Taking a deep breath in and release.
Open your eyes when you are ready.
