Hello and welcome.
Sometimes we just need to take a moment to anchor our energy and get a little more grounded.
We all have times when our energy gets a little scattered and maybe even a little frantic.
This practice will help to reclaim our solid footing and ground our emotions.
So will you please find a comfortable space where you feel safe and will not be disturbed.
Bring your attention to your breath.
Taking a deep breath in,
Filling your lungs and your stomach.
Release that breath,
Letting the stomach deflate,
Then the lungs.
Take another deep breath in,
Just like before,
And then back out,
Just like before.
Let's do that one more time.
Breathing in and out fully.
Settle into your more natural breath rhythm.
Allow each cycle to just soothe you,
Calm you.
Allow your energy to settle with the rhythm of your breath.
Bring your attention now to the surface beneath you,
Wherever that is,
Whatever that is.
Really notice that connection,
The security of your placement,
The sense of calm and peace of this place.
Allow your body to feel its own weight and presence,
Like an anchor holding you securely to the earth.
As you make this physical connection,
Notice your energy,
Your emotions start to settle as well.
Feeling a little more calm and serene with each breath.
Imagine each breath penetrating every cell and clearing away any of that unbalanced energy.
Let each out breath take that all away,
Leaving you with nothing but calm,
Balanced feelings.
Notice where you feel this sense of calm in your body.
Bring your attention here.
Focus on this area and feel the energy build and spread throughout your body.
Allows this peacefulness to radiate from this area out and throughout your whole body until you feel it all the way to the tips of your toes and the ends of your fingers to the very top of your head.
Let this energy envelop your body.
Feel how relaxed your whole body is.
Feel it settling into your mind,
Calming your thoughts even more than before.
Welcome in this true sense of contentment and peace.
Now feel a little gratitude for this moment,
This feeling and this peaceful state of mind,
The state of your body,
And really enjoy this time you've taken for yourself.
Let's start to come back now to our physical space by taking a deep breath in and a full breath out,
Coming back into your body more.
Start to wiggle your fingers and toes and open your eyes when you are ready.
