I am a meditation instructor and a Reiki Master Teacher.
I know that this time of year can be especially tough as the holidays approach when we've all lost a loved one around at the same time.
I've never fully understood why this that is,
But I do know that sometimes we aren't able to grieve the way we should just because there is so much going on.
So no matter who you've lost and when you've lost them,
Will you join me to give yourself some time to grieve?
I'm honored to be able to help.
Will you find a quiet place where you can get comfortable?
Take a deep cleansing breath in and forcefully let it all out.
Let's do this two more times,
Really letting go of the exhalation.
Now settling into a softer,
Gentler,
More natural rhythm.
Allow yourself each breath to soothe you.
Start to calm your soul.
If you're willing to receive Reiki energy,
Just say yes.
Bring your loved one to mind.
Feel your love for them.
If you weren't able to say your goodbyes,
Then allow yourself to do so now.
Tell them how you feel.
Allow yourself to feel the pain.
If you need to,
Let the tears go out of your ears.
Now you can see them in total peace.
With no pain and a higher mission.
As you breathe out,
Let go of any guilt you've been holding onto.
And release this grief for your loss.
Now let yourself release it all.
Know they will want you to be there for them.
Let them know that they will want you to move forward in a healthy way.
They want you to thrive and prosper.
Can you hear them telling you this?
They want you to be happy.
Remember them and their happiest,
Healthy selves.
That is what they want of you.
Feel the warmth in your heart.
Healing energy.
Now feel a shift.
A release of healing.
That lightness.
A sense of peace settling into your heart.
Like being wrapped in a blanket.
Of comfort and peace.
Allow this reiki energy to become your blanket.
Let it hold you and heal you.

Going back now to your physical space.
Start to notice your surroundings.
Wiggle your fingers and toes.
Open your eyes when you're ready.
Hope this session has brought you some peace.
