I have many favorite Bible scriptures,
Ones that help me through different seasons and challenges,
Good times and bad times,
But there is one scripture that brings me comfort whenever I hear it.
It's a blessing that I think everyone deserves to hear,
That everyone should recite over those they love and hold dear,
That everyone should recall when they need a reminder of the blessings available to them.
Before I recite it though,
Get comfortable.
Rest your muscles and your mind,
Sit or lay with ease and breathe.
As you do,
Allow me to read this blessing to you and receive it with an open heart.
From Numbers 6 and 24,
The Lord bless you and keep you.
Lord make his face shine on you and be gracious to you.
