It's been a long day.

The plan at the start,

At the end,

Was not accomplished.

Curveballs were thrown and only a few dodged.

As the day comes to a close,

The feet sit at your feet,

Tension heavy on your shoulders.

But here you are,

Ready to repair what's broken,

Release what's necessary.

So settle in your seat,

Take a deep breath,

And another,

And another,

And one more.

Now your body is beginning to ease.

Speak these affirmations to find comfort within.

Even if not,

I'm,

Despite all that,

I'm fine.

But it'll work out.

I fear the worst,

The best will happen.

Take another deep breath,

Ease into the moment,

And repeat,

I'm okay.

All is well.

I'm fine.

Take one more deep breath,

And as you settle into this moment,

These affirmations you spoke,

Let them penetrate your thoughts,

Fight the worst of them,

And champion the best.

As you prepare to leave this meditation,

Say it three times,

With all you have inside,

I'm alright.
