And if you would like to also embrace yourself with your favorite blanket,
I highly recommend getting nice and cozy,
You know,
Really wrap yourself up tight so you feel nice and supported and nurtured for this one.
And place your palms somewhere on your thighs,
Palms face down,
Wherever you don't feel like you need to put in any effort to hold up your arms here at all.
Let your arms just collapse heavy from your shoulders into the support of your legs.
And soften your gaze to one little fixed point on the floor in front of you or close your eyes.
Start to pay a little closer attention now to the ripples that your breath creates throughout your body as you inhale and as you exhale.
Watch where your breath begins to inflate your body.
And watch where your exhale begins to deflate your body.
And every inhale follow the inflation all the way.
Every exhale follow the deflation all the way back to your center.
Now in tune to the rhythm of your breath.
One hand at a time,
Flip your hands,
Palms face up,
Signaling that you feel you are in a safe space to welcome any heightened emotions to work their way through you now.
If you're not feeling quite safe enough yet to do so,
Simply take your left hand to your heart center and start gently rubbing your heart in a clockwise pattern.
Letting yourself know that you are safe.
You are supported.
It is safe to feel.
It is safe to be here right now with your emotions.
Take a long,
Slow,
Nurturing inhale breath and a long,
Slow,
Grounding exhale breath.
And when you do feel safe,
You can stop rubbing your heart and return your hand to your thigh.
And now lift your heart a little higher.
Crack open across your chest.
Using your body language to welcome any feelings you've been trying to push away.
Let that emotion know that it has a home within your being and it belongs with you.
It does not need to go anywhere else.
Breathe.
Now bring one hand to your heart center,
One hand to your navel center,
Whichever one is intuitive to you.
Take this moment of self-embrace to remind yourself that it is safe to feel what you are feeling.
Know that you can handle it because it is a part of you.
Continue to embrace yourself.
Hold yourself here.
Stop welcoming any emotions.
As you start to repeat this affirmation either silently to yourself or out loud.

Slowly breathe now as you allow that affirmation to be fully absorbed by body,
Mind and spirit.
