You're gonna start things off very simply.

Just begin to notice your breath.

Start with becoming aware of the movements that your breath creates in your body.

Notice how your breath begins to expand your body from your belly to your ribs to your chest.

It's very important.

Don't try to manipulate,

Don't try to alter your breath at all.

Let it naturally flow in and out of your lungs.

Just start to notice how your body inflates with this natural breath.

And still don't try to make any adjustments to your breath.

Let it flow organically.

But now start to shift your focus to how your body draws in when you exhale.

Watch your belly contract,

Your ribs draw in,

Your chest fall.

Still putting in no effort to shorten or lengthen or deepen or hold your breath at all.

Just breathe as you would in any average moment of any average day.

Just start to bear witness to the drawing in that occurs in the center of your body with every exhale breath.

And now become really aware of both of these movements.

Watch the expansion of your belly,

Your ribs,

The lift of your chest on the inhale,

And the fall of your chest,

The contraction of your ribs,

The drawing in of your belly on your exhale.

With your mind's eye,

Watch as you fill up on your inhale and empty out on your exhale.

Through this very simple practice of watching the ripple effect of your breath.

Slowly become more aware of the present moment.

Take a moment to notice this occurrence.

Become aware that you are becoming aware.

So now in this present state,

I'm going to offer you some mantras to invite into your space.

I'll state the mantra and you repeat it either quietly to yourself or out loud.

As you state the mantra,

Visualize it's happening.

Imagine that it is really true.

I am surrounded in white light.

I am surrounded in white light.

I am surrounded in white light.

I am surrounded in white light.

I am surrounded in white light.

I am surrounded in white light.

I am surrounded in white light.

I am surrounded in violet flame light.

I am surrounded in violet flame light and visualize it.

I am surrounded in violet flame light.

I am surrounded in violet flame light.

I am surrounded in violet flame light.

I am surrounded in violet flame light.

I am surrounded in violet flame light.

Now state and visualize this.

I am surrounded in a silver shield of protection.

I am surrounded in a silver shield of protection.

I am surrounded in a silver shield of protection.

I am surrounded in a silver shield of protection.

I am surrounded in a silver shield of protection.

I am surrounded in a silver shield of protection.

I am surrounded in a silver shield of protection.

Breathe in.

Breathe out.

You are safe.

You are protected.

You are in vella,

In comfort and love.

Take this time to simmer in the feeling of being encompassed in such protection.

To feel the warmth.

Nothing surrounded by this light and the love.

Nothing can break these shields.

Nothing can penetrate these walls.

You are safe.

You are protected.

And you are loved.

Remember that you can call upon these barriers anytime you feel them necessary throughout your day.
