Welcome to your meditation practice.
I invite you to find yourself in a comfortable seat or lie down if that feels best to you.
Place the hands in your lap or on your belly if you're lying down.
And gently flutter the eyes to close.
We'll start by clearing the energy in the body and the mind with two cleansing rounds of deep breath.
Begin by taking a full inhale in through the nose.
And exhale out the mouth.
Again,
Breathe in deeply through the nose.
And sigh it out the mouth.
And just return to a gentle and bare breath at this point.
Nothing too straining.
Just a gentle inhale and a gentle exhale in and out the nose.
Bring your awareness and attention to both of your hands.
Whether they're in your lap or on your belly,
I want you to imagine that you are holding an orange orb of light in both of your hands.
And that orange orb of light is radiating warmth,
Creativity,
Joy,
And love.
And you begin to feel that warmth and that orange light extend into each of your ten fingertips.
That orange light now reaches the palms of both hands to both of your wrists,
Your forearms,
Elbows,
Upper arms.
And now drapes over your shoulders,
Covering both collarbones.
And that warm orange light now reaches the throat chakra,
Extends to the back of the neck.
And begins to fill up over the chin and the lower jaw,
The upper lip,
Your cheeks.
And the orange light now fills both of your ears and your nose.
Orange light reaching both eyes.
And now touching your third eye,
That space just between your eyebrows,
Your third eye chakra.
It extends up to the forehead.
It comes up the back of the head.
And now this orange light is radiating just on top of your head at the crown chakra.
Imagine that orange light now reaches up tall towards the sky.
Passes through the atmosphere,
Extends into space,
And reaches into contact with the sun.
You're now filled with this orange light from your fingertips all the way up to the crown of your head,
Reaching for the sun.
Now bring your awareness into your heart space and imagine that orange orb now sits right at your heart chakra.
And with each beat of your physical heart,
It begins to radiate out this orange light outside of your body,
Into the room,
Into your home.
And simultaneously that orange light now pulses through your veins and arteries.
That orange light reaches down to your solar plexus chakra,
Just beneath the rib cage.
It envelops and wraps around your lower belly and your hips to your sacral chakra,
Down to your tailbone to become union with your root chakra.
And this orange light now begins to envelop both of your thighs,
Wraps around both knees.
The orange light now extends down the shins and the calves of both legs,
Wraps around your ankles,
Your heel,
The tops of your feet.
It extends out each of your ten toes.
And now this orange light envelops the soles of both of your feet.
And though both feet might not actually be touching the earth,
Imagine that they are in contact with the earth.
And this orange light begins to extend out of the bottom of your feet into the floors of your home,
Whether that's carpet or tile or wood.
It extends out the floors of your home into the foundation,
Into the soil of the earth,
Down into the core of the earth.
And as you stand here now,
Enveloped fully by this beautiful,
Warm,
Glowing orange light,
It extends from Father Sun all the way down into Mother Earth.
This orange light not only reaches from the heavens to the earth,
But it envelops around you like a cocoon of love,
An envelope of joy,
A cradle of creativity.
You are the embodiment of this beautiful,
Creative,
Love-filled,
Joyous orange light that extends and reaches out not just into your space,
But into your whole world.
Bring that awareness back into your heart space,
Back into your hands,
Where you're holding this beautiful orange orb of light.
Can you tap into that creativity,
That love,
That joy deep within your being?
Let's take a full breath together.
Deep inhale in through the nose and exhale out the mouth.
Invite some gentle movement into the fingers and toes by touching each pad of your finger to your thumb to reawaken the senses,
Bring some awareness back into the physical body.
And if it feels good,
Find a gentle sway of the head left and right,
Forward and back.
And when you're ready,
No rush,
You can flutter the eyes open to come back into your physical space and just observe in the body where you feel a little bit more softened,
A little bit more relaxed.
