Welcome,

Today's meditation is an invitation to step into the fullest version of your life.

So often we move through our days in survival mode,

Rushing,

Holding tension,

Postponing joy and forgetting that this moment is where life is actually happening.

Please don't beat yourself up if this sounds like you.

It's normal to get caught up in the everyday routines and challenges.

And that's why you're here,

To do things differently today.

This time together is about slowing down,

Reconnecting to yourself,

And remembering the simple,

Powerful reality that you are meant to truly live,

Not just get through the day.

You don't have to have a grand plan for your whole life,

Or know exactly where you're headed,

To step into the feeling of aliveness.

In this session,

You'll gently start to release what's been weighing you down,

Awaken your sense of presence,

And open yourself to feeling more and more into living your life fully,

Right now.

Sometimes,

We take for granted in our lives the simple things that we do every day that are actually incredible.

Being able to sleep in a cozy bed,

Getting to eat delicious and nourishing foods,

Having transportation take us from one place to another.

If you're able to walk,

Having that ability.

If you're able to see or hear,

Having those senses alive and awake for you.

There's so much in our day-to-day lives that we can lean into to be fully alive,

That we often don't pay attention to.

This is your time to come alive again,

To breathe deeper,

To feel awake,

And lean into the sense of aliveness that is here right now,

Which will catapult you into living your life to the fullest.

It might sound like a lot of work,

Or maybe even impossible,

But living our lives to the fullest doesn't have to be as complicated as we make it out to be.

Simplicity is actually key.

Take one slow inhale through your nose,

And a gentle exhale through your mouth.

Let's begin.

Settle into a comfortable position,

Allowing your body to soften,

Yet be supported at the same time.

And close your eyes if you'd like.

Let your muscles relax.

Allow your jaw to soften,

Creating a bit of space between your upper and lower teeth,

So tension can melt away.

And start to slow your breathing down a bit.

This time is for you.

A moment to remember what it feels like to choose truly living,

Fully,

Freely,

And present.

A feeling of intense aliveness,

Constant calm,

Or perfect alignment doesn't have to be there all the time for you to be living fully.

Just keep that in mind as we practice.

Let your breath move slowly in and out of your body,

Like waves rolling onto shore.

With each inhale,

Invite a bit of calm to your muscles and joints,

A moment of relaxation.

And with each exhale,

Become more and more present,

Just being here.

Here with your breathing,

Here with softening tensions,

And here with my voice.

Start to imagine each breath washing through you,

As though it's clearing out anything heavy,

Tight,

Or tired.

Cleansing your mind,

Your current challenges,

Cleansing every cell inside your body.

And with every exhale that you take,

Picture stress evaporating from your body,

Like mist dissolving in sunlight.

Let go of pressure,

Let go of expectations,

Let go of the need to rush.

Just let your breath release the excess.

Start to bring attention gently to your heart space.

Feel your chest rise and fall with your breathing.

Feel the quiet rhythm of life moving through you.

You are already fully alive.

Taking even a few moments to observe it,

Brings you back to full presence,

To fully living.

Imagine a warm,

Steady light glowing in the center of your chest,

Soft,

Golden,

Calmly alive and animated.

With each inhale,

The light softly grows brighter.

And with each exhale,

This light spreads through your body,

Lighting up every corner with a calm aliveness.

Let it flow through your shoulders,

Your arms and hands,

Your belly,

Your legs and feet,

Your head,

Your whole body.

This light is awakening every cell with calm energy and presence.

As you continue to breathe deeply,

Start to allow this warm light to expand beyond your body,

Beyond the boundaries of your physical being,

Surrounding you like a gentle field of possibility.

Start to feel its expansiveness,

Taking up space,

Glowing in the present moment in your body and glowing into what the future may hold all around you.

Living fully doesn't mean rushing an outcome,

Forcing something to happen,

Or doing more.

Living fully is being here,

Awakening to the aliveness in your breath right now,

The aliveness in your body in this moment,

The aliveness of possibility on the horizon.

Let yourself experience the richness of simply being alive,

How incredible it is that your body is breathing,

The steadiness of your heart beating without you having to ask it to,

The peace of this moment right now.

Ask yourself,

What makes me feel most alive?

If it's an activity like downhill skiing,

Or playing with a puppy,

Or hiking in nature,

Now ask yourself,

What is the feeling that comes with that activity of aliveness?

Even if it doesn't have a name,

Can you just feel it,

Just a little bit?

Start to visualize yourself moving through life with that feeling.

Even in everyday activities,

What would it be like to feel that a little more often?

Releasing what drains you and replacing it with a feeling of aliveness.

See yourself choosing that feeling that nourishes you.

Let the warm light that you've created in and around you grow even stronger.

And feel that light and feeling.

Feel it filling you with a deep sense of what alive means to you.

You are allowed to enjoy your life.

You are allowed to feel peace.

You are allowed to take up space in your own joy.

Breathe that into your entire being.

Now,

Let that aliveness and that golden light settle back into your heart space.

It's always a feeling you can return to.

Maybe let a small smile fall upon your face and begin to gently bring your awareness back to the feelings in your physical body right now.

Feel the surface beneath you supporting your aliveness.

Notice your breath moving in and out of your body,

The constant reminder of your aliveness.

Anytime you feel like you need a boost to help you live this moment to the fullest,

Come back to that feeling of what aliveness is like for you.

It might be there when watching a sunset,

Or laughing so hard you can't breathe.

It might be there in the moments of awe,

Invigoration,

Or calm moments of stillness.

It might be there in the everyday moments,

And even the moments that feel mundane.

Living fully isn't as complicated as we make it out to be.

So let yourself open your day to simple moments of living your life to the fullest.

Carry any calm,

Clarity,

Or aliveness that you've cultivated with you out of this meditation.

And just remember,

You don't have to have a feeling of intense aliveness,

Constant calm,

Or perfect alignment all of the time for you to be fully living.

It can happen in the in-between moments and still count.

It's in choosing what fully living means to you,

And taking even just a moment to embody that feeling each and every day,

That's fully living.

Let it guide the way you move,

Speak,

And choose today.

When you're ready,

Slowly wiggle your fingers and toes.

Take one final deep breath in,

And release it slowly.

You are here,

You are alive,

And you are free to live your life to the fullest.

Thank you for practicing with me today,

And I look forward to sharing another meditation with you soon.
