Welcome.
Let's find a comfortable position and begin to settle in.
Close the eyes.
Begin to turn your attention inward.
Let's take a deep inhale together.
And exhale,
Let it go.
Again,
Deep inhale.
And exhale,
Release.
Last time,
Deep breath.
And exhale,
Let it go.
Begin to relax the physical body and continue to turn your attention inward.
As you find a rhythm for the breath,
Recognizing the inhale and the exhale,
As you begin to establish your awareness in the present moment,
Let's begin to think about all of the moments that led to this present moment.
Now we can't call to mind every single moment we've ever experienced.
Rather,
The collective memory of all the past experiences that have led to this moment.
This is what we're here to honor today.
Every moment in our past,
Every thought,
Every word spoken,
Every action,
Each encounter,
Every friendship,
All of these things have somehow led us to this moment today.
As memories start to come up,
As we begin to think about the interconnectedness of all of our experiences and how they lead to this present moment,
Let's set aside judgment or regret or shame or remorse.
Rather,
Let's allow these memories to pass across the landscape of the mind,
Like clouds passing across a perfect blue sky.
And as best as we can today,
With gratitude,
Let us be thankful for all of our past experiences,
All of our yesterdays,
Which have brought us to today.
For the next few moments,
You'll be on your own,
Perhaps focus on the breath as memories may come or go.
And allow the breath to guide you to anchor your awareness in the present moment.
And if emotions or feelings start to come up,
Whatever comes,
Let it be.
Honor these things from yesterday and the yesterday before that and all of the yesterdays before that.
Ef Begin to bring your awareness back to the present moment.
And know all of these experiences,
All of our yesterdays,
Inform the present moment.
All of our experiences,
They guide us,
They have led us to this moment in the here and now,
Today.
Let's take a deep inhale together.
And exhale,
Let it go.
And if you're ready,
Gently blink the eyes open.
Thank you for meditating.
Have a beautiful day.
