Before we begin today's visualization meditation,
I want you to begin to become comfortable.
Either in a seated position or lying down,
Take these next few moments just for you.
Place yourself in a position where you know you won't be disrupted and begin to settle into this moment.
I want you to imagine that you are snorkeling in exotic waters.
You are floating,
Feeling weightless and your mask allows you to breathe as normal.
The water is warm yet refreshing and you can feel the sunshine on your back.
Continuing to breathe as normal and not trying to alter your breath in any way.
Beneath you,
You can see sea life.
Brightly coloured small fish swim through bright coral.
The coral shimmers and appears fluorescent in this light.
All is out of your reach.
You merely float above it,
Looking down and taking all of the colours.
You are completely safe.
The water is safe.
Starting to breathe as normal,
Just noticing the colours beneath you.
Notice the way the water feels around you and notice how calm and weightless you feel in this moment.
Think of how this may relate to your life.
Sometimes there is beauty beneath the surface,
Beauty just waiting to be seen.
Sometimes we need to float above that which is going on around us.
And sometimes we need to go to our happy place and focus on our breath.
How does this relate to your life?
Continue to focus on the beauty beneath you.
Continue to imagine all the colours and experience the warmth you are feeling,
The complete weightlessness that you are feeling.
And as we end today's visualisation,
Know that you can revisit this place of beauty and calm anytime you would like.
