Today's meditation will focus on comparison between yourself and others.
Begin by closing your eyes in a position that feels comfortable to you and begin by taking a few deep breaths.
Breathe deeply and slowly and allow your body to relax as you settle into today's meditation.
Breathe all the way in and all the way out.
You might like to place one hand on your chest and the other on your abdomen and notice how they expand and deflate with each cycle of breath.
You are exactly where you need to be right now.
Stay here for a while and give yourself some recognition for taking some time just for you.
You are so worthy of your own time and energy.
In life it can be so easy to compare ourselves to others.
Don't look at other people's accomplishments,
Their achievements and think that it dismisses your own.
You might feel jealous,
Resentful or question why do good things happen to them and why do good things never happen to me.
It is important to remember that we are each running our own race and that so often we only see other people's highlights reels.
We don't see their challenges and difficulties and we don't always see what they have had to overcome.
I want you to remember your own unique talents and strengths.
I want you to embrace the good things about yourself.
What do you like about yourself?
Remember that while you're doubting yourself and comparing yourself there are so many people who admire and love you just as you are.
I want you to repeat after me,
Either in your head or aloud.

I want you to return your attention to your breath and visualise breathing in feelings of empowerment and certainty for who you are and breathe out any feelings of doubt.
Breathe in empowerment and certainty,
Breathe out any feelings of doubt.
You are you and that is your power.
When you are ready begin by rubbing your palms against your thighs and begin to centre yourself back into this moment.
Roll your shoulders and return your awareness back to your surroundings.
