Hello,
I'm so glad you're here and have joined us for another practice.
I have decided to name this practice Answers From Within for a few reasons.
The first being that it is the truth,
You always have access to the answers within.
And the second is that I hope to help empower you to access any answers on your own.
And the third is to help introduce you to the beautiful and so important aspects that make you who you are.
I know how difficult it is to make it here to practice in your busy life and I am so happy and grateful you've chosen to practice with me and given yourself this time.
So let's just take a moment to give yourself some gratitude and love.
As you begin to get comfortable,
This practice can be done seated or lying down,
So long as you ensure the neck remains a long extension of the spine and the spine stays forming a line from the crown to the root.
If you're needing more of a grounding practice,
Leave the palms face down and place the hands wherever comfortable.
Let's begin to scan our body slowly from the toes to the head.
Observe anything that is speaking to you and take note of these areas.
Now that we've finished,
Let's send our breath to the areas we've noticed as tense,
Achy,
Or just not 100% for a few moments and settle deeper into practice.
Take deep breaths into the heart space and long slow breaths out.
Focus on the area that you're sending your breath to and allow those areas to release and relax.
Now that you are settled,
Let's focus our attention on our solar plexus chakra.
This area between the rib cage and the belly button,
Let's focus more so on where the ribs start to separate and it's quite fitting that our soul actually resides within this area of our body in the solar plexus.
Try to begin to connect with your soul.
Focus on this space.
What does your soul look like?
What does it smell like?
Can your soul speak to you?
What is your soul saying to you?
What does your soul think about you?
Does your soul have any advice for you moving forward?
I want you to look at your soul and tell your soul that you love it.
You could say it out loud or in your head,
But continue saying,
I love you to your soul.
Keep saying it,
I love you.
Perfect.
Now that we have met our soul,
Let's begin to move up the body to the space above our head,
Approximately one foot.
This is where our higher self resides.
Begin to tune into this space.
What does your higher self look like?
What does your higher self smell like?
Can your higher self speak to you?
What does your higher self say to you?
Does your higher self have any advice for you moving forward?
I want you to thank your higher self and begin to refocus on your body.
Refocus on your breath and bring yourself back into your body.
Take a deep breath in and a long cleansing breath out.
