Hello everyone and welcome to this meditation for self love.
I invite you all to sit or lie down and get comfy.
If you are sitting,
Please align your spine into one long straight line from the crown to the root.
If you are lying down,
Tuck your chin to allow for an extension in the spine.
Together,
We can take a few deep breaths into the belly to drop into this practice today.
We will begin by breathing in and out.
In and out.
In and out.
Now,
Continue breathing on your own while we do a slow,
Gentle scan,
Noticing anything in our body without judgement,
Starting at our toes,
Through our feet,
Up the ankles,
To the shins,
The knees,
The thighs,
The pelvis area,
Our stomach,
Chest,
Down the left arm,
Forearm,
Palm,
Fingers,
Up the back of the left hand,
Forearm,
Upper arm,
Across the shoulder blades,
Down the right upper arm,
Forearm,
Palm,
Fingers,
Up the back of the right forearm,
Upper arm,
Into the center of the back,
Between the shoulder blades.
Move your attention now up the back of the neck,
Back of the head,
The crown of the head,
Soften the muscles of the forehead,
Between the eyebrows at the point of the third eye,
The little muscles around the eyes,
The cheeks,
The ears,
The jaw,
Relaxing the tongue down in the mouth,
Moving down the front of the throat,
Through our throat chakra,
And coming to rest on the middle of the chest above the heart chakra.
Listen in to your heart and the beautiful song it sings just for you.
Feel this space open,
Breathing in love,
Kindness,
And gratitude,
And feeling an expansion in the chest with every breath that you take.
I'm going to leave you now for a few moments on your own with the mantra,
I am worthy of love,
I am love.
Use this mantra with the breath to maintain focus,
And if you feel yourself slipping into the thoughts about the day to day,
Or thinking about the two lists,
Repeat this mantra and focus on your breath.

Okay,
I'm going to begin to bring you back now.
I want you to take a deep breath in,
Breathing love deep into the belly,
And a long exhale,
Letting go of that which no longer serves you.
Begin to bring awareness to the fingers and the toes.
Begin to wiggle them.
You can begin to roll your ankles and bring a new awareness into the body and the deep love that resides within you.
Flutter the eyelashes open and allow yourself to come back to the room that you are in.
