Today,
I thought we would do probably the most known thing,
Which is chanting Aum,
The most known thing in the world,
Besides watching your breath.
So we'll call it number two.
So let's start there today.
And the instruction today is gonna be this.
We'll keep it simple.
We're gonna chant Aum together,
But in a rolling way.
So I'll chant and whenever your next breath comes,
You can chant Aum as well.
And today,
Let's experiment with feeling the vibration of the chant in our body and noticing where we feel it in our body.
So not directing it,
But as we Aum,
We're gonna be kind of body-based today to keep ourselves grounded and in the space.
So that's what we're doing.
Find a comfortable seat,
Make sure your torso and belly is free and your clothes are comfortable.
If it's okay with you,
Close your eyes.
If not,
Just leave them slightly open with a soft gaze.
Put your hands on your lap or maybe one hand on the other in your lap.
Notice the breath moving in and out of the body.
I'll begin chanting and just join in with me as you can.
And as you take your next breath,
Just start your next Aum as soon as you're in breath again.
And then after a little while,
I'll ask us to bring that Aum internal.
So keep sort of repeating the mantra to yourself without it being external.
So we can see how that feels.
And then at the end,
We'll do a few Aums together.
Aum.
Aum.
Aum.
Aum.
Aum.
Aum.
Aum.
Aum.
Aum.
Aum.
Aum.
Aum.
Aum.
Aum.
Aum.
Aum.
Aum.
Aum.
Aum.
Aum.
Aum.
Aum.
Aum.
Aum.
Aum.
Now let's keep chanting Aum internally for a few minutes.
Aum.
Aum.
Aum.
Aum.
I'll take a collective deep breath in and a long,
Slow breath out.
Bring our palms together in front of our hearts,
Bowing to your own heart.
Namaste.
