Happy New Year now and welcome to today's practice.
I'm really grateful that you've created the time and space in your day to show up,
To be present,
And to breathe.
Allowing yourself to sit in an upright,
Comfortable posture that supports your body fully while keeping the spine aligned and strong.
Shutting away all the distractions by closing your eyes,
Smiling,
And reflecting on what you're grateful for right now.
And as you reflect on what you're grateful for,
Begin to breathe some slow,
Deep breaths down into the bottom of your belly,
Creating space for new life.
With each inhale,
Allow for yourself to let go of all that does not serve this moment on the exhale.
Breathing in,
Receiving this gift of life,
This gift of breath with full presence.
And as you exhale,
Allowing yourself to let go of your to-dos and to show up fully present to this practice.
So breathing in fully to the bottom of the belly and exhaling a ha sound,
Letting go fully of the stress that you've held onto.
Breathing in fully through the nose and again exhaling that ha,
Relaxing the body,
Softening into the space.
Breathing in fully,
Feeling the belly expand,
Overflowing into the chest,
And exhaling,
Softening.
Breathing in a little deeper and a little slower,
Slowing yourself down.
Fully with control,
Exhaling,
Feeling those gentle vibrations,
Relaxing the energy around your heart.
Breathing in,
Exhaling,
Relaxing,
Arriving,
Breathing in,
Pulling your energy back into your body.
Weathering up the energy of stress or tension and slowly exhaling,
Smiling.
Breathing in,
Giving thanks for this breath,
For every moment that you're alive.
And slowly exhaling all the way.
Breathing in again and if you need to follow your own breathing flow,
Please listen to your body and slowly exhaling,
Unwinding from any stress or tension you've held in your body.
Breathing in,
Pulling your energy,
Pulling life into your body and letting go of any heaviness or any energy that clouds your perception.
Breathing in through your mouth fully and completely,
Allowing for your body to soften as you exhale through your mouth.
Breathing in again through your mouth,
Feeling your body fill up with this life force energy.
Exhaling through your nose,
Cleansing the body fully,
All the way to empty.
Breathing in fully and completely through your nose,
Gathering up the energy of life and slowly through your nose,
Exhaling all the way until your belly is fully empty.
Breathing in through your nose,
Feeling your belly expand for flowing into your chest,
Feeling this connection to life through your body.
Slowly through your mouth,
Exhaling,
Releasing any tension,
Softening the muscles in the shoulder.
Breathing in through your mouth,
Allowing your belly to expand as fully as possible.
Through your mouth,
Slowly exhale,
Dissolving any emotional charge that has been built up inside.
Breathing in through your mouth,
Feeling grateful for this moment,
For this breath.
Through your nose,
Exhaling,
Softening the stomach muscles and relaxing.
Breathing in through the nose,
Pulling the life force into your body,
Feeling all of life breathing with you now.
Through your nose,
Exhaling fully and completely.
Breathing in through your nose into the area you hold the most amount of tension.
Hold that breath at the top,
Uprooting the tension with control,
Exhaling through the mouth and sigh of relief,
Letting it go softly.
Breathing in through your mouth,
Feeling grateful to be alive,
To be breathing now.
Slowly through your mouth,
Exhaling all the way.
Breathing in through your mouth again,
Filling your belly,
Filling your chest.
Through your nose,
Exhaling,
Emptying any thoughts that are negative,
Do not serve.
Breathing in through your nose again,
Just noticing if there's any judgments that surface.
Make them smile.
Through your nose,
Exhale,
Cleansing them out.
Breathing in through your nose,
Just noticing how your body feels in this moment.
As you exhale through your mouth,
Relaxing,
Becoming the moment.
Breathing in through your mouth,
Feeding yourselves new energy and new life.
Through your mouth,
Exhaling all the way,
Releasing all that no longer serves this moment.
Breathing in,
Feeling your body realigning itself,
Coming back into balance.
Through your nose,
Exhaling,
Blending the mind,
Relaxing.
Breathing in through the nose,
Feeling yourself,
Rooting into your power.
Through your nose,
Exhaling,
Softening into yourself.
Breathing in through your nose,
Giving thanks for you,
For this moment.
Exhaling that appreciation through your mouth,
Giving it all back.
Touching the tip of your tongue to the roof of your mouth.
Begin to run energy up and down your spine.
Breathing in through your nose,
Lifting the energy up,
Breathe out through your nose.
Lowering the energy down,
Breathing in,
Controlling that breath,
Slowing everything down so you may see clearly.
Breathing in through your nose,
Softening,
Feeling the breath empty.
Breathing in through the nose,
Keeping the tip of the tongue connected to the roof of the mouth.
Exhaling through your nose,
Feeling the energy of your body working together.
Breathing in through your nose,
Feeling present and grateful.
Breathing out through your nose,
Softening,
Relaxing.
Breathing in through the nose,
Giving thanks,
And exhale,
Release any judgment,
Any fear,
Accepting what is.
Breathing in gratitude into your cells,
Allowing them to light you up.
Exhaling judgments and fears,
Allowing everything to be what it is.
Breathing in,
Feeling this breath,
Leading you,
Opening you up to new possibilities for this moment.
And exhaling,
Softening deeper into your body,
Into presence,
And continue to breathe this slow conscious pace.
We allow the music to fill you up with a new source of energy and love in your heart.
Feel this breath,
Feel this connection to all of life.
Give thanks for all of it.
Breathing in through your nose,
Feeling this breath,
And exhaling,
Relaxing.

Bringing your awareness to your presence,

Giving thanks and celebrating the love that is available by being.
Breathing in fully and completely,
Smiling,
Giving thanks for this breath as you receive it fully,
Pausing,
And exhale,
Giving everything back to life.
Breathing in,
Smiling,
Feeling yourself supported in this moment.
All your needs are met.
Exhale,
Softening,
Relaxing.
Breathing in again,
Feeding yourselves fresh oxygen.
And slowly exhale until your lungs are empty.
Give thanks for this day,
For this moment,
For this practice of breath that is available in every single moment,
That when you are stressed or flustered or frustrated,
Come back to the breath and allow for yourself to soften into awareness.
Allow for yourself when you judge to come back to your breath,
To soften the stomach,
To appreciate the reflection that you're being given in the moment.
Feel this breath.
Feel this life supporting you.
From that space of wholeness,
Of connection,
Create anything you choose.
So breathe in deeply.
Ask yourself from this moment forward,
What do I want to create in this day?
What kind of experience do I want to intend?
How do I want to show up to my challenges?
With that energy and intention into you,
And exhale,
So be it.
