The meditation we are going to do offers you a way to slow the swirls of thoughts in and around your mind so that you can be calm. Super Stretch believes that when we pay attention and focus our minds on something, as simple as looking out a window, it can make us feel so good and relaxed that we start to see the world and ourselves in a new way. Then, we can release all of the gross, uncomfortable feelings and feel healthy. Let's join them for a meditation to find calm. Take a deep breath in, and ahhhhhhhhh, a deep breath out.

Hi friend,

Welcome.

It's time to meditate and practice a snow globe meditation with the adventures of Super Stretch.

I'm Super Stretch.

My friends and I live at 247 Mindful Pathway.

It's our mission to make balance a part of your day because you are a superstar even when you don't feel okay.

The meditation we're going to do offers you a way to slow the swirls of thoughts around you so you can be calm in the center of any storm in your mind.

We're going to dig into our super kit and tap into our life force.

Let go of stress and anxiety by creating fun tools to see in a new way and find freedom from fear to enjoy life's ever changing adventures.

Come on friends,

Let's join in the meditation with the Super Stretch team to discover how to make Breathe Stretch play a part of every day.

But before we start,

Remember it may be hard at first to teach your body and your mind to let go and relax.

It will get easier to stop for a minute,

Pay attention to your breath and feel what is going on inside of you.

We don't need to push anything.

There's always going to be room for improvement and growth.

So take a breath,

Calm your mind and step forward.

Do you know what a snow globe is?

It's a transparent circle or a bubble that fits in your hand almost surrounding a tiny scene of some sort.

And inside this globe that can fit in your hand is water and stuff that makes flakes inside.

Kind of looks like snow.

When the globe is shaken,

It churns up all of the flaky stuff inside.

And then you can look at the globe as the particles fall down slowly through the water.

Today,

We're going to do a mini awareness practice to slow our mind down by using the breath and we're going to make our window at home become a snow globe.

Isn't that cool?

Then we can take some time to quietly sit and breathe.

You can be sitting up tall in lotus flower pose or in a chair.

But let's look out the window together.

Begin to feel a big smile wash over your face and take a deep breath in and deep breath out.

Let's try that again.

Breathe in and breathe out.

Let's start by looking at a tree or something big out the window.

Just look.

Listen.

Watch.

See the things around you.

There's no place to go.

No job to do.

You are just breathing.

Take a deep breath in and a really deep breath out.

Our breath today shouldn't feel any particular way.

And it's okay if we notice our mind wandering off or thinking about things that happened yesterday.

When that happens,

We just want to bring our attention to the sensations and the feelings of breathing in and breathing out.

Breathing in and breathing out.

It's so simple that it can be super hard to do.

Everyone at 247 Mindful Pathway believes that a quiet mind is a happy mind.

And Super Stretch knows that you can do it too.

Breathe in and breathe out.

Just watch what you see outside of the window.

If a thought or a distraction comes into the mind,

Like a noise in the house,

Let it pass and focus on your breath.

Breathe in and breathe out.

Look at the view outside and notice things.

Breathe in and breathe out.

Focus and see something new.

Do you see that?

Breathe in and breathe out.

Feel your body relaxed.

Breathe in and feel a big huge smile and a deep breath out as you notice something new.

A little bit of time has passed.

Let's talk about the experience.

How do you feel right now?

What did it feel like looking out the window and just noticing the things outside?

How did your breath feel as you were focused on looking and seeing?

Was this hard to do?

Did it seem silly?

Super Stretch believes that when we pay attention and focus our minds on something as simple as looking out a window,

It can make us feel so good and relaxed that we start to see the world and ourselves in a new way.
