It’s helpful to think of the energy of money as a cat. If you try too hard to get a cat’s affection, it’ll sense your neediness and run away. A big obstacle many people face when trying to attract more money is wanting it desperately. The desire for money is beautiful, but if your craving for it is so intense that you can’t enjoy your life until it arrives, you’re blocking your flow of abundance.

Your ego will create many desires that make you feel you must fulfill them to be happy. If you have a desire and are unsure whether it comes from your ego or your heart, notice how it feels. Your ego’s desires always carry the underlying energy of fear. Your heart’s desires feel different. If a desire comes from your heart, there will be a feeling of peace, as if the fulfillment of your desire is inevitable and will manifest in divine timing that is outside of your control.

The energy of money is a manifestation of the Universe’s infinite love for you and is available to anyone who seeks it. When you have a strong desire in your heart to become wealthy, it’s because you have a longing to more fully express your unique gift to the world, which requires you to have more money. When you realize that your heart’s desire for wealth exists because you want to have more financial freedom to share your unique gift with others, you’ll no longer feel any guilt when attempting to manifest it.

You were born into this world to feel safe and free to play. When your struggle to earn money goes away, your inner child will feel free to create beautiful new things for no other reason than it feels wonderful to your body, mind, and Soul. Money is the substance that gives you the freedom to create in your world.

When it comes to your life, you’re the one and only director. If you don’t like your life, you have the power to change it. You’re the author of your life story, and although you can’t change another person’s story, you can choose who you allow into your life and how you let them treat you. To manifest in the physical world you exist in now, you must primarily root your energy here and not away in other planes of consciousness.
