God,
I ask you to bring your loving presence to this manager part of me.
May this hardworking part of me feel honored by you for the work that it does,
Always looking ahead,
Trying to keep me from hurt,
Pain,
Or failure.
I know this part is weary.
This part carries burdens and responsibilities that were never its to bear.
It is too much,
And this part feels the weight of the burden.
It is stressful and overwhelming and tiring.
This part of me does not realize that another way is possible.
May this part find trust in you,
God,
Allowing it to unburden some of its heavy load into your hands.
May it learn to trust you with its deepest fears.
May it trust you to care for the other parts of me that it so loyally protects.
May it receive the gifts of peace and calm and rest and honor as it learns to trust you more and more.
God,
As I sit here now with this part,
I ask you to be fully present to it.
I pray that it will sense your closeness,
And in that sensing,
It will feel the depth of your love for it.
I pray that connection will have a ripple effect to all parts of me,
Filling all of me with a deeper understanding and experience of your love and peace.
May this part truly learn to trust.
Come to me,
All you who are weary and heavy laden,
