So as you prepare for sleep,
Allow yourself to unwind.
Imagine yourself in a safe,
Serene place.
Perhaps a soft meadow under a starlit sky.
Or a warm,
Cosy room lit by a gentle fire.
Or you are just comfortable in your own warm,
Soft bed.
Bring your awareness to your breath.
And with each inhale that you take in through your nose,
Imagine your body starts relaxing.
And with each exhale,
You are letting go of the day's events,
One by one.
Inhale through your nose,
Inviting relaxation and softness.
And with a deep exhale through your nose,
You are letting go of the day's events.
Letting them drift away like clouds passing in the sky.
Feel your body sinking into the comfort of your bed,
Surrendering to the support beneath you.
Breathing in a sense of peace.
And exhaling any remaining tension.
Know that in this moment,
There is nothing more you need to do.
Nowhere else you need to be.
There is only rest now.
Allow yourself to drift into its embrace.
