Welcome to today's practice.

I am Mirka and I am going to guide you on your journey to finding peace.

This meditation is for breathing in peace.

For the times where we might feel like we are constantly running,

Like the internal wheels are turning so quickly that we barely notice the day before the sun starts setting down again.

I invite you to begin to find a comfortable position.

Either sitting cross-legged on a floor,

On a bolster or on a chair where your feet are touching the ground or even lying down on your back with your legs hip-distance apart,

Arms along your body,

Palms facing up.

Now bring your eyes gently to close and your awareness to your breath.

Stay with your natural breath.

Notice its flow.

And when you are ready,

Start deepening your inhale through your nose and elongating your exhale.

Notice how it feels.

Now take a deep breath in through your nose.

Feeling the air enter your nose and filling up the lungs all the way up.

Hold for a moment and then slowly exhale through your mouth.

Inhale again deeply through your nose.

Imagine drawing in peace,

Calm and clarity.

And exhale through your mouth.

Exhaling any tension or worry.

Continue inhaling deeply,

Bringing in the peace and calm and clarity.

Observe how you feel when you invite them in.

Allow them to spread throughout your body.

And maybe imagine how they are soothing every cell within you.

And as you gently,

Slowly exhale,

Exhale any tension,

Any worry,

Any stress or any fear.

Notice how does that feel.

And just breathe.

Drawing in peace and calm and releasing stress,

Tension.

With each breath you are filling yourself with peace,

Creating space within.

Stay breathing as long as you need to.

As long as you need to be inviting and drawing in peace.

To really spread throughout you.

To feel alive.

Releasing anything that doesn't serve you anymore.

When you are ready in your own time and you feel like you'd like to come back.

To the room or space where your being is in.

With your sigh.

Do so gently.

First bringing the awareness out with your eyes still closed.

And then inviting the world within by opening your eyes slowly,

Gently.
