Allow yourself to drop in,
Arriving within your body.
Notice how does your body feel.
Notice if there are any pockets of tension or if there is a sense of ease.
Bring your awareness to your feet,
Your toes,
Your soles,
The tops of your feet,
Your ankles.
Bring your awareness to your legs,
To your shins,
Your calves,
Inner and outer sides,
To your knees.
Bring your awareness to your thighs and notice how do your legs feel this morning.
Now bring your awareness to your pelvis.
Maybe move it gently to reach all of it.
How does it feel?
Now bring your awareness to your body,
To your torso,
Your belly,
Your back,
Your chest,
The sides of your body.
How does it feel?
Now bring your awareness to your hands,
All your fingers,
Your thumbs,
Your palms,
The tops of your hands,
Then your wrists.
How do they feel?
Then bring your awareness to your arms,
Your forearms,
Your elbows,
Your upper arms and your shoulders and armpits as well.
Connect with them.
Connect and then bring your awareness to your neck,
To your throat and notice how does it feel.
Bring your awareness to the back of your head,
The sides of your head,
The crown of your head.
Maybe move it a little.
Then bring your awareness to your forehead,
Your eyebrows,
Your eyes,
Your nose,
Your cheeks,
Your lips,
Your chin,
Your jaw,
Your tongue.
Notice if there is any tension in your jaw and your forehead.
And maybe relax it.
Your jaw and then your forehead.
Now you are within your body.
You can feel your breath moving through you.
So deepen your inhale,
Feeling the belly and chest,
Sides of your body rising.
And long exhale.
And with next inhale maybe stretch your arms above your head and your legs the opposite direction and bring a sense of clarity to you.
And feeling of being ready for the day ahead of you.
Open your eyes.
Take a deep breath in.
Smile.
