Welcome onto the journey home.
We have learned how to accommodate the world around us.
The enduring urge to hide yourself,
Making sure that you are accepted.
Becoming a stranger to your own internal waves.
Living in the body that seems yours but does not feel yours.
Seeking the validation from the outside.
The noises of the external are almost deafening,
Creating inner chaos,
Which feels like a heavy weight is sitting on your chest.
I see you.
I invite you.
Close your eyes.
Feel comfortable in your seat.
Bring your awareness to your heart space.
To that weight.
Underneath it,
There is your heart and it is waiting for you.
Put your hands onto that part of you that is yearning to be heard.
Bring them to your heart.
Sip a deep breath in through your nose,
Leading it into that heaviness.
Let everything out through your mouth.
Sip another breath in and sigh everything out,
Feeling the weight lessening its impact.
Breathe into any tightness.
Feel the release and the awakening of kindness within.
Breath feels like a sweet elixir,
Bringing space into your chest,
Tenderly opening towards your heart.
Feel the elixir moving down into your sacrum,
Into your belly,
All the way down into the root of your body.
Deepen your inhales gently.
Make your exhales softer and longer.
Allow your body to soften.
There is no need anymore for holding a certain pose and staying in what feels like a heavy armor.
You are allowed to soften.
You are allowed to release.
You are allowed to come home to yourself and feel who you are.
Feel the ground underneath you.
Feel how your breath is lovingly rocking you.
Listen to your beating heart.
You know you are safe.
Your body is your harbor.
Your heart is your lighthouse.
