“I was born and raised in Moscow, Russia. I’ve always loved technology but my first education was in finance – which didn’t really interest me. As I grew up, I chose to focus on subjects I felt more curious about, such as venture investments in innovative technologies and I gained a second Masters Degree in Business Coaching.
I started work from an early age. At just sixteen, I became an assistant at a well-known Russian fashion brand. It’s safe to say I grew up fast, learned a lot, and quickly gained the confidence to communicate with different people. I was never afraid to launch interesting projects and was eventually promoted to head position. After fashion, I worked in popular jewelry brands.
I also did an exchange program at Munich University, where I studied Electronic Media and had an internship at a German fashion e-commerce startup. This valuable experience changed my life. It doesn’t matter where you are or what language you speak, you can still meet interesting people, colleagues, and friends.
Meditation in Russia is quite new. I am glad to see how it is growing and developing and we have lots of beautiful teachers and practices to offer. Now, more people can feel the benefits of meditation; how it changes and improves your quality of life, helps with stress, and makes you happier.
I am very pleased to be part of the Insight Timer team. We are all in different parts of the world, yet we remain connected, share our experiences and collaborate on new ideas. It is very valuable that we support Women’s Equality Day and I hope this inspires many women to work in IT and Tech and encourages them to follow their dreams.”
